‼️🚨PLEASE SHARE🚨‼️ This Sunday is our Men Supporting Men walk. Every single Sunday this year, come rain or shine, we’ve turned up. Because too many good men are carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders and trying to fight battles alone. Life is hard. Bills, work, relationships, family pressures, business worries. We all put a smile on our faces and say “I’m alright” when deep down we might not be. That is exactly why we do this walk. No judgement. No pressure. No awkwardness. Just men walking, having a chat and looking after each other. I’ve seen first hand how powerful this walk has become. Men who walked through the doors not knowing a single person now have friends for life. People have started businesses together, found new jobs, taken up sports and, most importantly, realised they are not alone. And if just one man goes home feeling a little happier or knowing someone cares about them, then it’s all worth it. You do not have to be struggling to come along. Come for the fresh air. Come to get fitter. Come to meet good people. Come because life is better when we stick together. Suicide is the biggest killer of men my age… and that has to change. Us blokes don’t talk enough. We keep things in, carry it on our own, and pretend we’re alright when we’re not. I just want to help. Simple as that. So every single week we’re doing a walk and talk. No pressure. No judgement. No nonsense. Just men supporting men, getting some fresh air, having a chat, and looking out for each other. The walk is about 90 minutes, and any man is welcome, from any background, any age. Lads, I’m starting a Sunday Walking Club because I genuinely want to help people and I love walking. We’re meeting at The Thatchers Arms (CM13 3HU) at 8am this Sunday and going for a long walk….. no running, no pressure, just fresh air and moving ya body. It’s a chance to get fitter, clear your head, and have a proper chat about whatever’s going on in your life. No judgement, no nonsense, just a few blokes walking and talking. When we get back, we can enjoy a bacon and scallop roll at my seafood stall, and maybe a couple of cheeky beers after if you fancy it🍺. I want to do this every Sunday morning.
