Dear Netflix and other streaming platforms, why the hell is “continue watching” buried on the 4th or 5th row? Put it FIRST. i was watching the show 30 minutes ago, not 30 business days ago. Why am I searching for it like it’s lost media?

are we calling Bear Alexander terrible things for this or do we only reserve that for USC players?

This UCLA-Oregon game is EXACTLY why I have no more benefit of the doubt to give Lincoln Riley.
Oregon *is* as beatable as they’ve been in years. USC got them at home, with a backup QB and found a way to lose.
If you can’t win these games by Year 5, you just aren’t good enough.

This is some SERIOUS spin.
Did we forget about the billboards USC put up all over LA saying: The Time Is Now?
USC fans have high expectations, sure, but in this case, the university’s leaders and Lincoln Riley himself have said they have the same expectations this season

Exactly. Lincoln Riley and USC tell us the national title window is open. That the time is now. And then we get told that WE are the problem for expecting SC to compete at the highest level. Blame is always passed along under Lincoln. 0 accountability.

It’s crazy how our media cycle works like this, man.
Like, it’s so transparent what’s happening when the same influencers chime in just when a PR boost is needed

People keep calling it a fear of technology when what I actually feel is exhaustion. I don’t need a tutorial to use a parking meter. I need companies to stop requiring an email, password, phone number, app download and verification code just to leave my car somewhere for 20 minutes.

Funniest part: there was a window of time they could’ve agreed to give football and basketball players like $100,000 a year and non-rev sports some nominal salary and everybody would’ve happily signed on for that. The NCAA avoided solutions, fought for status quo, got fleeced.
NEWS: The @NCAA’s latest tax return shows it spent $63.5 million on legal fees in FY25, bringing 5-yr. spending to nearly $300 million.
(@WSTrialLaw got $19.6M!)
NCAA also spent $372.4M in FY25 legal settlements apart from House.

I’m not saying USC’s had some great defensive coordinators over the years - it certainly hasn’t - but the complaining about the DC every season overlooks the fact that the program hasn’t had the necessary talent on that side of the ball for a decade+. Doesn’t look different today

But only "should have." They "can't" reverse the results, you know, the way they do if someone's stepdad is getting loans because he's married to a player's mom.
The NCAA acknowledged that instant replay protocol wasn't followed in the Michigan-Western Michigan game, and the Wolverines should have lost. usatoday.com/story/sports/nc…

I'm proposing a bill called The Protect College Football Fans From Ads For Campaigns In States They Aren't Voting In. The PCFFFAFCISTAVI for short. It has bipartisan support across my timeline.

A punt return TD and a blocked punt in a little over of one half of football? Thank you, Mike Ekeler. Your impact is undeniable already.

We as a nation need to put aside our differences, come together, and force the networks to put every game in a different window when there are only three games to be played. No excuse to play two of today's games simultaneously. We can do so much better.

Gary Patterson might be just what Lincoln needed. Not one of his buddies. Not some young hot shot who’s blowing up his agent to upgrade. Just a grizzled vet who knows what he’s doing and wants to coach ball

Cal averaged 34,991 fans per game last year.
USC averaged 67,783.
It's been three days since the game... can we please move on to Week 1?

“There was no scheduling conflict”?????
USC was getting their bye weeks messed up and had to start conference play early every year to accommodate a non-conference game during conference play. It was a scheduling nightmare.
