The woman in the photo grew up literally down the road, won 4 Utah state championships (1 in this exact stadium), Gatorade Player of the Year twice, National Player of the Year, scored the fastest first goal in USWNT history… Could probably be worth a mention, but idk.
Welcome to the Riot, @JJWatt and fam 🤩

Travelers react react to Palm Beach Airport being renamed after Donald Trump: "I think it's patently absurd that we're spending taxpayer money to rename an airport after a criminal that's sitting in the White House." "It's disgusting, ridiculous, pompous and a lot of other bad things. I do not like it at all."

#BREAKING: Psaki: “Multiple outlets are reporting tonight that Donald Trump has essentially wiped out what is left of the US Election Assistance Commission that is a bipartisan commission that helps states and local officials run elections. They certify election equipment, they distribute federal election funds, they maintain the national mail voter registration form, they basically do a whole bunch of things that help elections across the country run smoothly. But as we have seen through his actions over and over and over again, Donald Trump does not want elections in this country to run smoothly, quite the opposite.”🤦‍♀️

James Robison What Joyce Carol Oates wrote to Elon Musk on Twitter. I am told it rattled him. I love it. “So curious that such a wealthy man never posts anything that indicates that he enjoys or is even aware of what virtually everyone appreciates – scenes from nature, pet dog or cat, praise for a movie, music, a book (but doubt that he reads); pride in a friend’s or relative’s accomplishment; condolences for someone who has died; pleasure in sports, acclaim for a favorite team; references to history. In fact he seems totally uneducated, uncultured. The poorest persons on Twitter may have access to more beauty & meaning in life than the ‘most wealthy person in the world.’”

I don’t want this guy anywhere near the Los Angeles city budget. My god. Who blows through 10 million, goes bankrupt, and still thinks they can run the city with the 2nd largest budget in the US

There's a major civil rights protest taking place in Selma, Alabama, right now in response to the SCOTUS decision that weakened the Voting Rights Act and the ongoing attack on Black Americans’ political power (video: defiancedispatch/IG)

🚨 🇺🇸MAJOR BREAKING: They are marching across the Edmund Pettus Bridge again. 61 years after Bloody Sunday. The same bridge. The same fight. Today in Selma, thousands are gathering at the spot where Alabama state troopers beat peaceful Black marchers in March 1965. That beating shocked the country into passing the Voting Rights Act five months later. This week the Supreme Court finished gutting it. (video: ib2_real)

These gerrymandered maps only work if we don’t show up. That is what they are counting on. These maps will break under the pressure of turnout.

True story… when I got offered by University of Maryland I never wanted the coaches coming to my house. I was embarrassed by our living situation. Lights cut off, barely food in the crib and I damn sure didn’t want a roach running across the floor lol. So every time they asked, I went to campus instead. PG County was rough in the late 80’s and 90’s. We had just had a shootout in our neighborhood. Coming out of high school I was the #1 player in the DMV and a lot of big names were leaving the area, but staying home meant everything to me. I had a lot of offers… but there was really only one choice. I think things turned out alright… HOF!!!! 💯
