"In Paris—as in Grenoble, in Montpellier, in Marseille, in Rennes—the commune must come about again, and the workers must profess “Vive La Commune”!"

#France — A photo from the high school students’ protest in Grenoble.
The working men’s Paris, in the act of its heroic self-holocaust, involved in its flames buildings and monuments. While tearing to pieces the living body of the proletariat, its rulers must no longer expect to return triumphantly into the intact architecture of their abodes.
The government of Versailles cries, “Incendiarism!” and whispers this cue to all its agents, down to the remotest hamlet, to hunt up its enemies everywhere as suspect of professional incendiarism.

#Albania — Clashes between police and protesters broke out during a student demonstration against poor university conditions, tuition costs, and the lack of post-graduation job opportunities. Twenty-seven people were arrested.
Thousands of students took to the streets to protest and attempted to storm the Ministry of Education building, smashing its windows and setting fires.
The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Justice, a police station, and several bank branches were set ablaze.
So instead of "atom bomb vs coughing baby" we've now got "supernova vs pneumonic infant"
Proof of the pudding; non-violence is ultimately useless.

Now take up the abandoned equipment and use it for yourselves, so that you can use it to beat the police even harder next time, take up the area they retreat from and hold it, and behind it start reorganising life along your own lines on the model of France's own commune

She gets covered less and less as she gets more and more correct, should read some Marx, Engels, etc., she'd love it
She is fundamentally correct here about the need to unite the workers, students, etc., though 'rise up'/'fight' should be more literal than I think she means it
« Il est temps que la jeunesse se lève et lutte pour ses droits et son avenir. La police est extrêmement violente pour protéger un ordre social extrêmement violent. Travailleurs, étudiants et lycéens doivent s’unir » 📢 - @GretaThunberg en direct de Paul Eluard à Saint-Denis.
