Today we’re releasing Muse Spark Open, the most capable US open-weight model to date.
Built for coding and agentic work, it excels at long-horizon tasks, complex software engineering, and multi-step reasoning.
Key Model Specs:
→ 816B total / 42B active parameters
→ 1M token context window
→ Natively multimodal across text, image, video, audio

we have identified and fixed the issue that was causing the unusually fast quota usage for muse wonder and muse wonder full. you will now see much lower usage against your limits.
also, as promised, now that we've fixed the issue...
muse code reset!!
An awesome job for any events inclined folks!
Most people throw events so it feels like something happened. But @abundanceinst, we throw them so something big actually does.
We’re taking huge summits, small dinners, roundtables, briefings, receptions. You name it. The biggest rooms we can get and the little ones with six people arguing until someone changes their mind (or the restaurant asks us to leave). We are doing way more of them all, and the clock is already against us.
We need another person on the events team who can make ambitious things happen without becoming the person emailing “just circling back” at 11 p.m. Hundreds of details, none of them the point, but all of them matter. Creative, scrappy, unbothered when the venue falls through, calm when the plans change, and willing to own it all from the first call to the last person out the door.
You’ll help us put the people building a more abundant future in the same room. AI, energy, and the conversations other groups are too scared to host.
Remote is fine. Travel expected. If your vision of the future includes slower timelines and smaller portions, this will make you miserable.

Not every district can put a STEM lab in every school.
A $300,000 grant from @Meta is putting a mobile STEM lab on the road in Temple, Texas.
It goes campus to campus, pre-K through 12, because the future is for everyone.

I think it's a significant positive step that the leaders of every major American lab have committed to implementing robust internal controls and multiple layers of audits and reviews. This should give people more confidence that the technology each lab is building will work as intended.
Only President Trump could convene all the leaders of the top companies developing chips, data centers and frontier models for Super Intelligence. This new Industrial Revolution has already created a million new jobs and is spurring a bigger infrastructure build-out than the railroads, canals and grid combined. I was honored to witness history as the leaders of the frontier lab companies signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence, accepting responsibility for the safe development of their products and imposing new internal controls and external audits. This is far better than waiting years for some international agreement that would probably never happen. President Trump continues to ensure that U.S. remains the technology leader while putting Americans first.

Today, we are launching Muse for Small Business. Small business owners are short on hours, not ideas. Muse for Small Business handles the work that grows and runs your business—including the back-office tasks that consume your day—so entrepreneurs can focus on what they actually started their business to do.
A great example is Henry Bennett of Bennett Orchards, a 6th generation farmer in Frankford, Delaware who grows peaches, blueberries, and nectarines. Hear from him how Muse for Small Business is changing his life and growing his business.
Small businesses have grown on our platforms for 20 years, and now they have access to tools that will help them manage their day, grow faster, and serve more people.
Congrats to @alexandr_wang, @natfriedman, @vishalshahis, and the entire team.

We believe superintelligence will create significant new opportunities for all people and businesses. Meta already serves billions of people at scale and helps hundreds of millions of businesses reach customers. Today we are starting the next major pillar of our business, Meta Enterprise Platform, to help businesses use AI to grow and transform in new ways as well.

Meta VR Glasses -- private cinema, a workstation with multiple monitors, and a game console in a pair of high-res glasses. Our first time delivering VR in glasses rather than a full headset -- really a glimpse of the future.

Today we’re announcing Petal: the world’s first petabit-class transoceanic subsea cable and the first to deploy multi-core fiber at scale.
Spanning 7,000 km (4,000+ mi) between France and the United States, Petal will deliver 1 Petabit per second (1 Pbps / 1,000 Tbps), doubling the capacity of today’s most advanced transatlantic systems.
Petal is set to enter service in 2029, setting a new standard for high capacity, high density SDM subsea cable designs.

muse for mac is HERE!! your agent can now get stuff done right on your computer — files, messages, calendar, notes, all of it.
you're in control of what it can access, and it always asks before doing anything sensitive.
Add it to the dock - ai.meta.com/muse/download/

Last month I wrote about how we can build a positive and safe future for everyone: meta.com/thefutureisforevery…
Every lab has the responsibility and incentive to move at the pace required to train its models safely, and the ability to take its own actions to ensure that happens.
The reality is:
- People won't want to use agents that are misaligned with them and that don't do what they ask, so labs have a strong natural incentive to make their models more aligned.
There is a lot of debate about slowing progress on capabilities until alignment catches up. My view is that trust and alignment are quickly becoming the most important capabilities that will differentiate agents and models. Any lab that doesn't focus on alignment will fall behind.
- Labs face significant liability if their models cause harm, so they have a strong incentive to prevent this as well.
Meta delayed shipping Muse for several months to focus on safety and security. We didn't call for everyone else to do this before we would. We just did it as part of our day-to-day work because it was clearly the right thing for people and for us. I'm proud of the security foundations we've built.
- Engaging independent evaluators and advisors is industry best practice. MSL already does this today in several areas because it helps produce better work. Other labs can just do this too. In general, it would be helpful for there to be a larger and more diverse ecosystem of evaluators.
- Committing the significant majority of compute towards serving people rather than racing towards recursive self-improvement is one of the best ways to ensure we develop this technology safely. Meta has made this commitment and other labs can do this as well.
I believe the key to building a positive future for everyone is maintaining the right balance of power. This is within our power to do.
