Hey folks, I hope everyone is excited for the conclusion of VCT EMEA this weekend!  Ahead of the event, I wanted to jump on here to provide the EMEA community with some important updates about what's coming up during the rest of the year for VALORANT esports in EMEA, kicking off with VCT Ascension EMEA!  I am excited to share that this year’s Ascension will now feature 8 teams instead of 6. And, given two teams will qualify into VCT EMEA next year, the spotlight will be on the matches that decide who secures a place in VCT EMEA 2026 - the Ascension games. Both Ascension games matches will be played live on stage in front of fans - so instead of one final, we’ll have two. Here’s what’s changing: •Ascension will start a day earlier •All 8 teams will compete from the Riot Games Arena •Format: 2 seeded GSL groups into two Bo5 Ascension Games which will qualify for the VCT EMEA 2026 - both on stage Next up: Challengers EMEA #3 begins next week, setting the stage for the biggest Ascension yet!
