Introducing Codex++ The power user codex-cli fork: - Multi Account Support - Auto-Start Weekly Limits - Auto-switch to new account when empty - Guardian-review with --yolo based on hooks npm i @jjliebig/codex-plus-plus I used ~20b 5.6-sol tokens with it, it's very fun.

The blue whale with the double whammy. Not just a banger of an update to 4.1 Flash. Importantly $0.75/1000 web search, huge stuff. (Google is $14 per 1k!!)

It makes me stupidly happy that this is exactly the issue I ran into with my review suite plugin months ago I was pretty proud of my little circuit breaker (incidentally also after 3 rounds) and seeing it validated makes me very happy
Cap your agent review loops at 3 rounds Per their writeup, one Claude Code PR ran 50+ rounds of review and fixes overnight, mostly re-flagging old code. After the cap, PRs needing 5+ rounds went from 8.9% to 1.5% for your REVIEW.md After 3 rounds, stop and ask the author to rethink the approach xitter.cf/ClaudeDevs/status/2111…

I refuse to call any model even remotely AGI until models can actually remove things. Comments that are referring to old, legacy state with zero reason (worst offender imo). Code that should have never existed. Tests that are tautologies. UI copy with "not xyz".

Even for reviews, Opus (medium) is now actually useful and good. While 6.1-Sol-med/xh is still my cost x time x perf recommendation (cause very few false flags), you don't require GPT models anymore for reviews. Truly wild. arena.liebig.gg if you want to play around

Idk about you guys but this is so sick The fact you get the error back immediately is crazy and the algorithm is legit beautiful Just crazy
Honestly stunned by result 128 Shortest Common Superstring went from 3x optimal to 7/3 over 35 years of human work. OpenAI's model got it to exactly 2. And it didn't use greedy, the algorithm the 1988 conjecture was about. Lean-checked I animated the proof in 6 minutes:

lmao they actually did it
Meet Mistral Large 4, aka Le Chonk. • 1T parameters, natively multimodal. 49B active. It is the best open weights model from US or Europe on aggregated benchmarks. • State-of-the-art on critical workloads, including cyber defense, manufacturing and finance and it surpasses closed frontier models on visual grounding. • Forged in Europe end-to-end and is deployable from Europe via our own Mistral Cloud infrastructure. • Available to all via API today. Working with cybersecurity partners privately. Open weights release end of October.

LE CHATON FAT woooooooooooooooooooooooooo
MISTRAL 🔥: A new big model from Mistral is about to drop, according to Reuters. > “The model we’re actually announcing today is actually above the Chinese models on certain aspects, including cyber. So the narrative that Europe cannot compete is something that is not true,” Since we expect it to outperform Chinese models, there is a big Chunk of possibilities that it will be open weight. Right? A big Chunk 👀

Well this is pretty hype I used DCG to filter only bad commands to the auto review But if it's free? I mean ..
Auto-review is now free for everyone who uses it via ChatGPT account! I default to “Approve for me” for all my codex tasks and auto-review makes sure that I’m protected from any unintended consequences If you haven’t already, enable it in your settings - Enjoy!

The bubble does not realize how big this is
We are making Markdown files work natively across Google Drive and Docs. You can now preview .md files in Drive, open them in Docs, edit them, comment on them, and collaborate without converting the file into a Google Doc!

Opus decided yesterday to disable sccache out of thin air on the entire workstation. Why? No idea. I can see why Anthropic thinks we're not at AGI yet

I released herdr gpui exactly 2 weeks ago, it has become my daily driver for all projects including at work. Looks like it's getting traction and others like it too, let me know what's missing to make it your daily driver too. github.com/penso/herdr-gpui

This mirrors my experience almost 1:1 The perfect agent loop rn: Opus 5.5 is the main POC. Astra-xh for planning review Sol for backend implementation Opus for UI/UX Sol-xh via review-suite plugin for reviews All via @herdrdev ofc Delegation is what buys you as human focus.
serious hot take: astra > opus hear me out before you start crying in my comments i'd never pick astra over opus for daily work, but every time i run an adversarial review on a plan that opus created, astra absolutely tears it apart 30% of astra's feedback is over-engineering, yes but the other 70% are genuine holes and improvements that, honestly, opus should have paid attention to TL;DR: - astra still is significantly smarter/more diligent - despite this, opus is the better everyday model once OpenAI gets speed and cost under control, i'd place bets that they will have the better overall model (for the first time ever, i'd argue)

Still early days in the review arena, but so far 6.1 Sol is truly owning. 0% Low Quality findings is unreal for 17 reviews. Cheap, fast, high quality. This is likely going to be the best review model for everything, because Astra gets bored at times and Opus is 10x price

herdr-web-ui just passed 300 stars. ⭐ And with that came a flood of issues and PRs. I'm busier than ever and couldn't be happier. Couldn't have made it this far without @q_yeon_gyu_kim and @JJdoesTech. I'd love to see more people building and sharing herdr plugins too. Use herdr from mobile or the web: github.com/devswha/herdr-web…
