Big thanks to the Lakota West Environmental Club for taking their time to do a trash cleanup around our campus today.
Very special night at our Fall Band concert. World premier of a new piece of music composed by Lakota West student Lang Chen and performed by our Symphonic Winds band. Incredible. Would have been right at home in the soundtrack of an epic movie. Here are the first 30 seconds:

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. Also, if you are stepping into the life of a young person who is without a dad and filling that role as a teacher, coach or mentor, happy Father’s Day to you, too.
My tastes and hobbies are pretty specific. My kids (and their significant others) knocked Father’s Day out of the park.
A thread on gratitude.
Today marked the end of one of the best and most unique school years of my career. As I reflect on it, I can only think of how grateful I am.
Grateful for the most supportive wife a man could ever dream to have in @jacksonamy. She has always made this house function correctly, but this year made me realize exactly how much I depend on her. Going on 29 years and I still can’t believe she said yes.
