17 jobs across 5 industries.
Failed 3 businesses (on my 4th).
Made $780k in the last 4 years.
Planning to make $ Ms soon.
For every success, the formula was the same:
- Show up every day.
- Do what you know you should do.
- Don't give up.
Simple right? But very difficult to do.
For every failure, the same reasons appeared:
- I showed up, but not every day.
- I did the work. Most of the days. Well at least, enough to not feel guilty.
- I convinced myself that the opportunity wasn't there, that the market isn't ready, that I was to late, etc..
Agency & Consistency.
That's all you need.
No secret sauce.
No AI hack.
Just grit.
I watch some university courses online quite often. I always think that the kids there definitely don’t appreciate it as they should.

For you to understand how atomic txs are important to TradFi I will use an analogy (u know I love those):
Imagine you are at a restaurant and you order a meal. The server just starts bringing you each ingredient in the meal, one by one, until you get the meal assembled. Sometimes the server forgets one ingredient or puts too much of another.
OR like a normal restaurant, the chef prepares everything and brings you the meal all together ready. Makes sure they have all the ingredients ready and put together before doing any distribution.
TradFi still, in a large part acts like the first restaurant. That is why they are coming on-chain.
I am not saying this is correct, but this is why I think even Ethereum or Solana or any other blockchains should not "hate" Canton.
Yes, they're inherently different with the fact that the state is separated from the consensus mechanism. That makes crypto natives a little worried because we come from a place where this is how we "don't need trust", by validating the state publicly with no way to hide.
However, Canton quite literally "speaks" the language of institutional finance. They have created a blockchain for what they need. Which means that they are more likely to come on-board.
I think of it like this - if my goal is to learn another language, I would pick up Spanish rather than Japanese as it is more similar to English. But, after learning Spanish I have the skill and understanding of learning a new language, therefore learning Japanese now does not seem as daunting.
I think this is why Canton can be good for other blockchains. Now that TradFi is comfortable with going on-chain with Canton, because it is more similar to their language, they are more likely to then do something on other blockchains. Because the jump to blockchains does not seem as scary anymore.
Again, this is just my opinion and it could be flawed. Let me know what you think.
I hate watching a live workshop and the person who is not talking is visibly working and not paying attention to the conversation. They might be listening but they are not fully in the conversation.
idk just bugs me...

There’s long been a disconnect between crypto fundamentals… and price.
Could that be ending soon?

To get better at explaining things and general talking I have started doing the following for at least an hour:
1. Pick a random topic (DeFi, security concept etc). I simply used AI to do that for me.
2. Research as much as I can in 5-15 mins on the topic.
3. Record myself explaining the topic for 1 min.
This helps researching quickly, learning quickly and also talking and explaining something. Seeing yourself talk and learning to improve on it can help in daily life and even interviewing.
Does anyone else do this?

The progress of AI is astonishing.
My gf went from complaining about my keyboard noise at 2AM to complaining about me talking to my agents at 2AM.

So it seems you can now have your canton-network:native as collateral and trade perps with @Canborsa_DEX
What does that mean? That means you can hold your canton-network:native and keep exposure to the coin while still trading.
They have actually now have a trading competition where they will have 5,000 canton-network:native pool for the best 10 traders by CC/USDCx volume over 2 weeks.
That is where I am going to be for sure... app.canborsa.com/trade/cc/us…
