Understand trading Boutte but one thing I don’t like is the deal appears to be more based on contractual fit vs maximizing value. Coincidence that both players were drafted in the same slot, 187th in the 6th rd? Likely not. More creativity to fill a positional need preferred.
That’s one of the best quarters of Jayson Tatum’s career. Right there. More of that please. Great decisions on both ends. Great stuff.

Grading Patriots Free Agency After First Week xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1OxwblwkV…
For those of a certain age, the Pats trading for AJ Brown talk reminds me of 1985 when it felt like the Celtics trade talks for Bill Walton were building up to a fait accompli & eventually did. I guess we’ll see by early-mid June. Reminiscent of that time.
I know Pats fans & pundits’ pets heads are falling off right now because of the Pats WR / TE inactivity as of this moment but there’s plenty of talent out there in FA, trade market & draft to help. Lots of guys to like. Patience Daniel San. Patience.
If the Pats can trade for BTJ I’d be ecstatic. Sign JuJuan Jennings & either resign Diggs or also sign a guy like Christian Kirk for underneath routes, I think they’d be more than ok.
I don’t think you have to overpay Alex Pierce (who I like but not at 30mil per) or give up valuable, high draft picks for AJ Brown to improve WR’s. Sign Mike Evans & add either Wandale, Doubs, Kirk, Mooney or even Jalen Nailor (who’s underrated) & your WR stable is better YOY.
Patriots positional offseason priority list: Succession plans at C or LG depending on where Jared Wilson ends up, Succession plan at RT, TE. Add: Edge, playmaking/ballhawking LB. Improve: WR & Punter.
If USA Curling holds on and defeats Germany it will be the greatest accomplishment, sports or otherwise in the history of planet Earth or any planet in any solar system in any galaxy ever.

It’s 1:00am San Francisco time. And yet I can’t stop watching this.

“Unbelievable” is one of the most overused words in sports but not on that play by Caleb Williams. Wow! That truly was unbelievable. Color me impressed.
Can’t outline the Red Sox organizational sabotage & civic treachery of the last 5+ years better than this.

Management really said "sustainability" and meant "evacuation."
Is this the greatest collection of talent ever traded by one team in a 6-year span?
