Our research was highlighted at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly at the High-level Meeting on #AMR, so we thought we'd create a short video highlighting our work in Sudan and Zambia @ucl_global @ffntoumi @AliZumla @JohnTembo1982 Link in thread below...

The @AmrCovid project I led was highlighted at the 79th @UN General Assembly! As I just finished my @absw media fellowship at @scidevnet (thanks to @ucl_global!) I thought I'd use my new digital media skills to create a short video highlighting our work, funded by @BSACandJAC

MicroRNA genes have evolved and expanded within the genomes of multicellular organisms for over 500 million years. Today, we know that there are more than a thousand genes for different microRNAs in humans, and that gene regulation by microRNA – discovered by this year’s medicine laureates – is universal among multicellular organisms. #NobelPrize

This AI generated image went through a review process and was accepted by journal. How is this possible? Scientists spend months writing an article to ruin it with AI generated image? #sciart

Important to remember during all the manufactured pomp that UK scientists were already members of this scheme AND many were dropped from collaborative projects in the wake of the UK temporarily exiting Horizon, damaging UK science for years.
DEAL DONE: The UK is joining Horizon Europe. Following negotiations with @EU_Commission, UK scientists will now have access to the world’s largest research and innovation programme on better terms for British taxpayers. It’s another step to grow the economy. Here’s why ⬇️
