That's Mandy Schulz. Get the name right. No "t" but ALL the T!
Love you, sis
I was at this one in 2011 and I'll be there in 2025 next week!

Do I know anyone at @cloudflare who can help/hint re: tracing for Workers/Pages?
I'm particularly interested in using OpenTelemetry to send traces to Datadog (since we depend on other services already using them on there) but I'd be happy with traces in the Cloudflare Dashboard

👋 Looking for a full-time backend engineer to jam with.
- a plus if they’re into AI
- a bigger plus if they’re into automating personal finance
- US-based (a huge plus if NYC/east coast)
Would love some help asking around. 🙏

Related: any chance y'all publish your own package for this rather than everyone hoping github.com/evanderkoogh... can find a way?
I love how easy it is to make & bind/assemble Workers, Durable Objects, etc, but that also makes the gap in Observability even more more apparent

I ported ukiyo-e.org over to @CloudflareDev Workers + R2 (1TB of image hosting) + D1 (for full-text search) recently and I'm super happy with it! Using React Router v7 + React 19, about 11 mil dynamic requests/month, served in under 35ms! Total cost ~$25/month.

Something nice about the new @remix_run and RRv7 `routes.ts` file is that you can easily create functions to help you define routes following a custom convention
Here I made a simple crud helper that receives a resource name and give me all the routes
gist.github.com/sergiodxa/c7…
![// e.g. crud("users") function crud(name: string) { let plural = pluralize(name); let camelCase = camelize(singularize(name), false); return route(plural, `./views/${plural}/layout.tsx`, [ index(`./views/${plural}/index.tsx`), route("new", `./views/${plural}/new.tsx`), route(`:${camelCase}Id/edit`, `./views/${plural}/edit.tsx`), route(`:${camelCase}Id`, `./views/${plural}/show.tsx`), ]); }](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GhDJ9stWcAACIu_.jpg?name=small&format=webp)
ALT // e.g. crud("users") function crud(name: string) { let plural = pluralize(name); let camelCase = camelize(singularize(name), false); return route(plural, `./views/${plural}/layout.tsx`, [ index(`./views/${plural}/index.tsx`), route("new", `./views/${plural}/new.tsx`), route(`:${camelCase}Id/edit`, `./views/${plural}/edit.tsx`), route(`:${camelCase}Id`, `./views/${plural}/show.tsx`), ]); }

[ I'm very glad to announce that the Emoji Mashup Bot is now back on Bluesky.
Thanks to their FREE API, I'm going to be able to start working on this project again, and you'll be able to enjoy it as well. See you there! ]

Cloudflare’s MCP server is now available - use it to deploy workers, kv, query d1… the possibilities are endless!
Share what you build with it, excited to see 👀
We were super stoked to see @AnthropicAI launch the Model Context Protocol (MCP) this week. 🫡
Today, we’re rolling out the first version of our Cloudflare MCP server with initial support for R2, D1, KV, and Workers.

⚛️ I updated my reproduction from you-know-when to react 19.0.0-rc.1 and it works great 🚀
stackblitz.com/edit/tanstack…
It’s not quite the same as in v18, but definitely the perfect tradeoff:
In 18, the order was:
- 🚀 start fetch 1
- 🚀start fetch 2
- 🌀render fallback
Both fetches started at the same time (1ms difference at most), and the fallback rendered afterwards.
In 19-rc.0, we had:
- 🚀start fetch 1
- 🌀render fallback
... 🐌
- 😭start fetch 2
with a clear waterfall between fetch 1 and fetch 2, because fetch 2 would only start after fetch 1 had finished.
In 19-rc.1, we get:
- 🚀start fetch 1
- 🌀render fallback
- 🚀 start fetch 2
This combines the best of both worlds thanks to the new pre-warming feature:
- ⚡the fallback renders faster
- 🙌 we don’t have to wait for fetch 1 to finish before fetch 2 starts.
You can read more about it here:
react.dev/blog/2024/04/25/re…
In my simple example, fetch 2 starts a bit later than in v18 (10-12ms usually), but that’s totally okay and largely irrelevant when async tasks are involved. It’s also expected because the fallback will be committed befoer the suspended siblings are rendered.
However, if the rest of the tree is large, you might see fallbacks a lot sooner than in v18, which is what the initial change aimed to address.
All in all, great engineering work from the React Team, super happy that the feedback got addressed and can’t wait for React 19 to ship 🚢

A million replies here saying "Use Raycast!" or "Why not ___"
Quick video detailing what I think are the killer features of Aerospace window manager that most apps like raycast don't have.
I fear I have tried a new window manager and really like it.
I really like the feature of Mac OS Sequoia where you can resize a tile / window and the other one resizes as well, but it's pretty limited.
I've tried Amethyst and Yabai and failed a few times.
This time I'm trying Aerospace and just a few hours in I'm feeling pretty comfortable in it!
Seems like the right amount of hackable without it becoming a fulltime job
