Spider-Man 2 is getting closer to a native PC experience.
SM2 Recomp aims to bring the original Xbox version of Spider-Man 2 to PC through recompilation.

Latest progress:
- 480p to 4K resolution support
- Aspect ratios up to 32:9
- Keyboard and mouse support
- Save/load system working
- Cheats and early texture mod support
- Ongoing graphics, audio and performance fixes
Coming next:Uncapped FPS, native Vulkan rendering, upscaled textures, improved mouse controls, and expanded mod support.
The project is still in development, with bugs and performance issues remaining.

Spider-Man 2’s traversal logic and physics have been reverse-engineered and turned into a GTA V mod.

And Opus 5.5 did most of the heavy lifting, with some 6.1-Sol work when usage ran out.
The craziest part? This started from a simple broken-English prompt about wanting Trevor to swing around like Spider-Man. 💀
