The thing I’m most grateful to Elon for is bringing back an age of wonder and excitement to humanity. That was jaw-dropping awesome! Screams and mouths wide open in the audience. Nuts.

The one thing that truly creates a lot of friction using @claudeai today is being limited to only one account per connector. Just tried @bot and didn’t realize just how badly this feature is missing.

Announcing Bagel-Bench: the definitive guide to NYC bagels. Every Friday for the past 2 years, we’ve ordered bagels for the whole @ExtendHQ team. 1000s of bagels later, we’re publishing our findings: S-tier: Apollo and Bagel & Schmear are SOTA, pushing the frontier on the taste × reliability Pareto curve. two of NYC’s leading applied bagel labs A-tier: Brooklyn Bagel, NYC Bagel & Coffee House, and Murray’s are strong production-ready alternatives. The gap to the frontier is real, but we remain bullish. B-tier: solid baselines, but we’d like to see more bagel R&D C-tier: these shops have impressive distribution. We’d love to see that same investment in the core model D-tier: significant work to do before we’d recommend consumption like all benchmarks, this one is biased. unlike most benchmarks, we’re admitting it upfront. what bagel should we eval next?

Amazon banning agents is the first opportunity I've seen since Amazon was founded for a startup to create an Amazon competitor. People will want agents to buy stuff for them. It will be one of the main use cases. And they won't want to use some Amazon-supplied agent to do it.

I think part of the standard will need to be establishing rules of fairness. especially as more voice agents make their way into the world. Ex What does a restaurant that takes reservations by phone do when many customers can hit a phone line hundreds of times per day?
The most important technology problem of the next 5 years: Creating a broadly accepted standard for agents to identify themselves to service providers, so that providers can adjust the way they interface with clients (as compared to human-based traffic). In the interim (i.e., for the next 6 months), there will be a cat-and-mouse game that agents will play -- to circumvent detection and maintain their product's utility during this growth phase. However, this will only be a stopgap and it will not be the terminal state of the world.

What I really really want from @claudeai desktop app is multiple windows, or multiple tabs.

This is the way, and in retro will be so obvious. feels like when “mobile-first” was something that needed to be stated and is now axiomatic. Soon we won’t need to say agent-first. Everything just will be.
Our data team recently burned the ships on point-and-click BI tool UIs. Our BI stack is now entirely agent operable / agent consumable. A (now-obvious) upside: if you commit to agent-first, every foundation model release just... makes everything better. I used to check in quarterly with account managers on how my roadmap request for "period-over-period" graphs was tracking. Now we just ship period-over-period graphs to our BI tool.

Artifacts can now call your MCP connectors. Ask for a dashboard, share it with the team, and every open pulls fresh data through the viewer's connections. No refresh job. No shared creds. Nothing to maintain.

Did you catch that? The new maxed out 256GB M5 Ultra Studio can be leased for *basically* the same price as a Max subscription across providers. For $257 a month, you can have on device intelligence that never runs out of tokens, and sips power. Best part is you can buy out the lease at the end of the lease for a $0 penalty. That's right 0% interest. So if the price is $12.9K and your lease is $9.9K over 36 months, then you pay the $3K difference and you now own that device. Or you can trade up into the M8 Ultra or whatever. I'm excited for this. 1.2 TB/s is pretty impressive. Can't wait to see some real benchmarks and testing on this. I'm waiting for the 512GB.

switching my workflows from cc to cursor/codex & it's clear that anthropic isn't necessarily winning the model game or even the harness game, but they are winning the connectivity game. the frictionless connection to anything via mcp is the app store moment. and they crushed it.

Contrarians tend to do very well at Ramp. @shevchenkoaalex, who runs @ramplabs, is one of them. High-agency people doing hard work should have real say in what work is worth chasing. Especially when everyone else says "that sounds too hard" or "that'll never work." Those are usually the projects worth trying. If you hear "impossible" and enjoy proving people wrong through action, you're exactly who we want building with us at @tryramp: ramp.com/careers
Why did a spend management platform start its own AI research lab? @karimatiyeh describes @RampLabs as a “collection of crazy ambitious people that don’t like to be told that something is impossible”. It started about a year ago and has since worked on projects like building its own production-grounded coding benchmark “Ramp SWE-Bench”, putting Claude Code in RollerCoaster Tycoon, and a mechanistic interpretability playground. The Redpoint team spent the day with Ramp Labs to answer questions like: ▪️ How did Ramp Labs get started? ▪️ How do they decide what research to pursue? ▪️ The long-term vision for Ramp Labs

Today we’re proud to announce Flux, our own cloud platform for running agents across DoorDash. Flux automated 130k engineering tasks in one month and now powers 25k+ code reviews each week. Creating the platform ourselves moved us beyond local, laptop-based agent workloads, while preserving enterprise security guardrails over execution and access to DoorDash systems. Here’s how Flux works and what we learned putting cloud-based agents to work:
