Genesis Launches @virtuals_io | [Current] Top 10 Projects by $/Point Committed
This list is based on the current top 10 from @JDHyper's dashboard, with some point farms and questionable projects excluded for better accuracy.
=> As you can see, @WhaleintelAI is the clear winner, offering the highest return per point committed at $0.633.
That said, it heavily skews the overall data, its point value is almost double that of the 2nd highest project, $BIOS (@BasisOS).
=> Most projects currently sit below $0.10/point, which puts the ROI and point worth of the top 2 into perspective.
A follow up chart comparing these point values with oversubscription levels and current ROI could offer even more useful insights.

The "gift" that keeps giving @virtuals_io... but HOW exactly?
For the first time, VIRTUAL introduced Staking.
They could've done it long ago, but they know that without a good flywheel, "incentives" alone will not be able to retain users.
The combination of Genesis Launch + Staking created a new addiction... a scary one.
Staking Breakdown ⤵️
Just a week into staking, we've seen a lot of interesting numbers that I want to breakdown. Before I start, I want to give @JDHyper a shout for creating such useful dune dashboards for us.
VIRTUAL staking numbers:
Total VIRTUAL staked: 21.6M (~$39M)
Current veVIRTUAL: 4.3M
*according to virtual website, there is 2.5M veVIRTUAL in circulation daily.*
VIRTUAL staking duration vs veVIRTUAL distribution:
I've noticed a pattern.
Left pie chart: veVIRTUAL distribution
- majority of veVIRTUAL distributed to 104 weeks (max staking period)
Right pie chart: VIRTUAL staking period
- majority staked 1 to 4 weeks only
- 17.5% VIRTUAL was max staked (104 weeks)
This shows that many people are testing the risk vs reward on staking for VIRTUAL. It is up to the team and genesis launches to deliver, in order to increase the staked amount to locked into max stake period.
Alpha: max stake period gets you the most veVIRTUAL.
Benefits of staking VIRTUAL:
- 20% of VIRGEN Points
- Genesis airdrop (solid new launches straight to your wallet)
- Identified as most loyal user in the ecosystem
Since staking launch, there has already been two airdrops, AXR and ARBUS. These two launches were very successful and we expect more to come. The stats shows that the airdrop amount was very good as well for the veVIRTUAL holders.
Alpha: selling genesis airdrops will stop you from getting future airdrops. Take profit accordingly.
TLDR;
Staking VIRTUAL = getting veVIRTUAL points
The longer you stake = more veVIRTUAL points
More veVIRTUAL points = more daily points and airdrop allocations
Maybe for the first time ever, we will see loyalty being rewarded accordingly.
