The lack of funded resources, diagnosis, treatment pathways & accessibility is what’s harming people, not a magazine trying to fill the void left by over a decade of corruption & failure by a delinquent Tory government.

We TRIPLED our vote share.
Second best byelection result in Green Party history.
On a date Labour chose to deliberately clash same week as our conference.
All with a brand new PM in previously a "safe" seat.

Should Green Party leader Zack Polanski stand down?

He's increased the membership by 150k. The Greens won historic gains in the locals & their first Parliamentary by-election, which catalysed Starmer's downfall. He's running a competitive campaign in a seat Labour has won since its creation in 1983 and is forcing the Labour government left on key aspects of policy.
But sure, the Greens aren't turning polling into votes, wins or tangible political results.
EXCL: Zack Polanski has insisted his authority as leader of the Green party does not depend on winning next week’s Holborn and St Pancras byelection, amid suggestions the party’s popularity has peaked.
"It doesn’t depend on it whatsoever," he tells @alethaadu, adding that the election has ramifications for politics nationally but “not for my leadership”.
“I think the seat is winnable, and I think it’s probably 50-50 right now. It’s really, really on a knife edge.”
But senior Green figures privately fear defeat could severely damage his leadership. There are concerns the party’s rapid rise in membership and polling hasn’t translated into strong campaigning on the ground.

"Are you a good benefit claimant? It's so disgusting to me."
Green MP Sian Berry is calling out the cruelty of the current benefit sanctions system, describing it as an "extreme conditionality" based on behaviour. Hearing stories of people having their support stripped away for simply missing an appointment shows a system that leaves vulnerable people struggling and deeply demoralized. Her message on these punitive measures is clear: it just needs to go.

James - this was one of 12 back to back media interviews in Millbank this morning from all the regional stations, which covered a range of locally important topics like data centres, water companies, transport, housing and more... I absolutely should have had the briefing on the binstrike - human error that I didn't. And I'll be back on next week to correct it.

It’s “part and parcel”, James, not “part or parcel”. As a journalist & radio host words are your trade so you should have a thorough knowledge of common English idioms. It’s moments like this that make people question LBC’s professionalism.

Peter Thiel is an absolute cancer on the world.
Our governments are buying into not only his far-right ideological bullshit, but also the software his company Palantir makes to commit genocide, destroy critical infrastructure, and spy on every aspect of our lives. Thiel is all over the Epstein Files, he talks about how being evil is actually good, because it’s ‘competent’.
