So I have started doing a few of these inspired by the #morethanweeds #nonjustweeds movements across Europe. Done a few around #Ladygrove in #Didcot so far
Thanks to Robert Harris at @Didcot !

So proud of my little peanut. Exploring the #DidcotBugs HQ already! #muskmallow is a firm favourite of hers for smoooshing! 🕷🐞🐜👶

A first from the Obs: group of Tuna lingering more or less due south from our viewpoint, c1.5 miles out; several good views of them jumping right out of the water. – at South West, England
Might follow these myself. @DidcotTC any councillors who would like to 'attend' these? bbowt.org.uk/wildparishes
It's nice when the bugs that turn up colour-coordinate with your signs! 😜 The first #DidcotBugs mini plots noe have some #Cinnabarmoth caterpillars on ragwort and a gorgeous display of #commonknapweed. The yarrow, oxeye daisy and ragged robin seem to be doing ok too.
Did a little arable weed patch at the front. A few annuals like this gorgeous #corncockle have popped up as well as #nightfloweringcatchfly! #DidcotBugs #wildflower #wildlifegarden
ID help needed!! What the heck is this little woolly bug? Seems to be running not moving like a caterpillar. Trying to get a view of underside..definitely six legs! @bugboybaker @Buzz_dont_tweet @Natures_Voice @ChrisGPackham
Interesting visitor to the bug hotel in the drizzle this afternoon! #scarlettigermoth #bughotel #beehotel #DidcotBugs
So while opening up some vetch seed pods to spread them more widely in my patch I came across these little guys! Presumably a beetle larva? Individually curled up in the seed 'slot'! @Buzz_dont_tweet @RSPBScience @BBCSpringwatch #wildlife #wildlifegarden #wildlifegardening
Late (and only) #breedingbirdsurvey #bbs visit to my square this year. Usual selection of farmland goodies: #cornbunting and #yellowwagtail and #brownhare. Plus skylark nest in a weedy margin which also had some awesome thistles being well attended by 3 species of bumblebees!

Great to see #rewilding becoming an increasingly mainstream approach. Everyone can do their bit to restore nature and build climate resilience - from doorstep to mountain top!
We are set to explore a new approach to grass cutting across the borough. ‘Rewilding’ aims to restore, reclaim and protect natural habitats and native species across the borough. rdgcouncil.co.uk/rewilding_T… #Rewilding #RewildingRDG #rdguk #rdg

It is a wonderful sound to be heard here around @KneppSafaris
These little chicks were doing mini bill clatters just days after hatching and now they can be heard when the adults return.

From the outset the family bond is strong in white storks. Each time a parent returns from foraging they perform a welcoming display, bobbing up and down and clattering their beaks. Within 2 days of hatching the young chicks can be seen doing the same display.
