Put them finishing at 84-78. Miami has an extremely hard schedule left San Diego and Arizona have similar schedules to stl but they are marginally more difficult. If stl gets to that number Arizona would have to finish just 10-11 to beat out stl San Diego would have to go 12-10.

Longshot to get in but it is possible I think they probably finish 11-11 and go .500 on the year and miss by 3 or 4 games.

Quick reveal, the player in the left is Brendan Donovan. The guy on the right is Luke Raley (when he was healthy in 23-24). How nuts would it be if I demanded Liam Doyle for Raley? Donovan is good. He’s worth a nice package. But that’s all he’s worth. Time to move on.

The crazy part of this whole Donovan thing is that the people who “cover” STL clearly haven’t reached out to people who understand the Mariners. It’s just “bloom said this so they HAVE to give that”. If you reached out, I’d be happy to explain why Sloan/Anderson/Miller is DOA.

For the 27 season which is a club option you would both likely have to trade fedde and give Miami a decent amount of value because he is going to be sought after even with his struggles because the stuff is still there.
