Here’s my final point: Miss me with the “wrestling always has dumb spots.” I don’t disagree, I just don’t get why. Like, I genuinely never expect to laugh during an intense match unless they’re beating each other silly. It’s okay to advocate against things that preexisted

We need pro wrestlers to get into improv and standup instead

Whether or not it’s a PWG type spot isn’t the issue. AEW isn’t wrestling in front of a hundred people. They’re putting on a show in front of thousands and more watching at home. Just think they need to pushback on that stuff. It’s not worth it

Re: the Ciampa/Andrade pants spot: AEW should always strive to differentiate themselves from WWE as much as possible. I think the visual of two “ex-WWE guys” doing that sort of spot makes it that much worse. And the crowd reacting they way they did was a little worrisome tbh

There are people who unironically believe this show is better than anything right now 😭
