Harry Maguire will be lucky to come back out for the second half. Atrocious display from an experienced centre half.
Would love to live in a world where referees actually try and keep cards in their pocket and keep 22 players on the field. If a player does something dangerous/malicious/cynical then fair enough show a card. Too often in a lot of games every foul seems to be a yellow card.
Not helping himself by defending him.
“No.”
Michael Carrick says he doesn't feel let down by Lisandro Martinez after the defender was sent off 🟥

Can’t take chances, can’t keep a clean sheet, can’t rely on experienced players to not get sent off for acts of stupidity. Mentally weak as piss.

Lisandro Martinez, having allowed Morgan Rogers to stroll through and score, then delivers a forearm smash to concede a penalty and get sent off.
A complete liability and total con of a footballer
Tinpot behaviour all round, from Villa for getting upset and Carragher for apologising.
Mount has played 4 full games for Man Utd and has been with us nearly 4 years and is on £250k a week. Injuries aren’t his fault but my god as signings that don’t work out go that’s up there with the worst of them.
🚨🚨🗣 Fabrizio Romano:
“Mason Mount will be out at least until January, possibly longer.
Sesko will only return once he is 100% fit. United don’t want to risk another injury. They’re hoping for January.
With Sesko’s situation and Zirkzee still a possible exit, United are exploring the January striker market. They want a traditional number nine and are already looking at options, regardless of what happens with the coach.”

Not signing a striker when your only striker has been out for the whole of pre-season with a persistent injury was the greatest act of idiocy and self-harm by the Manchester United hierarchy and emblematic of their hopeless reign
🚨 Confirmed: Benjamin Sesko out until at least January through shin injury.
Period of rest is required so striker is fully healed.

Another classic Harry Pork Pie like 80% of the other stories he tells.
🚨Wow!!!! Who is the player!?
Harry Redknapp is asked about falling out with players who wanted to leave. He recounts a story of a top player who demanded a move to a big club. When the club refused to sell him, the player threatened: “If you don’t sell me, on Saturday I kick the ball in my own goal.”
Redknapp says he warned the player that if he did it, he’d tell the fans, who would turn up at his house, and he’d have to leave the country. He firmly refuses to name the player despite repeated pressure from the hosts
Just delaying the inevitable, also shows the owners are happy to toss another season off.
Michael Carrick to be given time to turn things in around at #MUFC. Expected to be in charge for Chelsea on Saturday live on @talkSPORT
What do United do to these top players that join them? Tielemans been consistently one of the premier leagues best players in the last few years at Villa, comes to United and can’t trap cement.
No confidence, no belief and no quality. United are lucky to be only 2 down. Hard to see Carrick surviving this but the football club from top to bottom is a shambles.
Admire him as a manager and think he would do well in the short term but if the current ownership couldn’t deal with Amorim they’ll find conte is on another level of hard work!
