Today, we’re honoring the lives of the 32 Hokies who were tragically taken from their loved ones and the Virginia Tech community on April 16, 2007. On the 2024 Day of Remembrance, we reflect on the tremendous promise each of them embodied for our world. #VTWeRemember 🧡

Hard to believe it’s been 16 years, but 4.16.2007 still shapes the lives of so many. We’ll never forget our lost Hokies. neVer forgeT❤️🙏🏻

Huge announcement coming Tuesday from the Secretary of Energy. I’m hearing from a solid source that it’s a major breakthrough on FUSION. This is the holy grail of sustainable, abundant, clean energy — basically the power of the sun on Earth. 10am news conference in DC 12/13/22

On this day 78 years ago, 156,000 soldiers landed in Normandy to liberate France during WWII.
Every year, French soldiers take sand from Omaha Beach and rub it onto the gravestones to give the letters a gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 American soldiers buried there.
