The end of one adventure, the beginning of another.
Let’s go make Alaska and America great again!

I spoke to AFN yesterday to a crowd about 5x that of yours today. Maybe if you had shown up and done your job as Superintendent more than 10% of your students would have been proficient in math and reading. You were handed success and converted it into abject failure. That’s you.
Alaska’s own @NickforAlaska ranked the most effective lawmaker in the entire United States Congress.
Six bills signed by President Trump. Putting Alaska first.

America’s reserves balance sheet is a critical component of our nation’s insurance policy, bolstering our currency and providing assurance during times of uncertainty. Over time, the prevailing sentiment as to what constitutes a durable store of value can shift, and as such it is important for us to recognize this fact and provide the flexibility needed to broaden America’s portfolio of reserve assets.
The American Reserve Modernization Act (ARMA) ensures digital assets in the possession of the federal government will be consolidated across government and protected as a reserve asset for future generations, protecting these assets from the whims of Congress or future administrations.

I am thankful that the President, the First Lady, members of the Administration, and all those in attendance are safe following the apprehension of a shooter at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
I commend the @SecretService and our law enforcement officers for their swift and decisive response.

ALASKA UNLOCKED: Alaska’s future just became a whole lot brighter! New jobs, new opportunities, and new revenue are on the way.
The NPR-A lease sale just set a record, and it’s because of provisions I fought for in the Working Families Tax Cut Act and our NPR-A CRA that permanently ended the Biden-era lockup of these resources.
1.3 Million acres leased and a record-setting $163 Million dollars in winning bids from companies that haven’t operated in Alaska in years - why are they coming back? Because we have legislated in ways that generate stability, predictability, and clarity for Alaska. By doing this, we have created hope and optimism.
Importantly, the revenue from these leases will grow to 70% flowing into Alaska, the highest we’ve see since the pipeline started flowing.
I’ve been in DC for less than one term, and in that time we’ve achieved some of the biggest wins Alaska has seen in decades. We are turning this ship AROUND. There’s more to be done, but our best days are still ahead!

During my recent stop in Ketchikan this past week, I visited JAG Shipyard to see the important work being done to support Alaska’s maritime industries.
As Alaska continues to grow in this space, our expanding shipyard capacity means new opportunities for investment, workforce development, and economic activity in coastal Alaska.
Facilities like JAG demonstrate how investment in maritime infrastructure can help ensure Alaska remains competitive while supporting the communities that depend on our working waterfronts.
Thank you to the team at JAG Shipyard for the tour and for the work they’re doing to strengthen Alaska’s maritime sector.

Today, I had the honor of addressing the Alaska State Legislature for my annual State of the State address.
Over the past year, my team and I have delivered real results for Alaska - opening the door for responsible resource development, infrastructure investments, investing in rural healthcare, and ensuring Alaska plays a central role in America’s energy and mineral security future.
The obstacles that held Alaska back for decades are finally coming down and the door of opportunity is wide open. Now, it is up to Alaska to seize that opportunity.

The Cape Fox Land Entitlement Finalization Act of 2025, a bill that streamlines land management and provides for new capacity and revenue streams for Southeast Alaska has passed the Senate and is now on its way to the President’s Desk. Proud to have led this bill in the House.
Alaska’s voice has been restored in this 119th Congress, and we are being prioritized in our nation’s capital once again.

Congratulations, TEAM USA! Proud to have Alaska’s very own, Jeremy Swayman, representing the Last Frontier and bringing home the gold!
Exactly 46 years later... Team USA's first men's ice hockey GOLD since the miracle on ice. 🇺🇸🏒

This tax season, families are seeing real relief thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts.
Bigger refunds, lower tax bills, and zero federal income tax liability for many households.
These policies are putting money back where it belongs: in the hands of hardworking Alaskans.

Proud to support this legislation from my good friend and colleague, @RepPeteStauber
The Critical Mineral Dominance Act puts America FIRST by unlocking our vast critical mineral resources and ending our dangerous supply chain dependence on adversarial nations.
🚨My bill, H.R. 4090, the Critical Mineral Dominance Act has PASSED! The United States must never rely on China for the critical minerals we all use everyday. The U.S. can lead the world in critical mineral production and we can do it CLEANER and SAFER than any country🇺🇸

The Arctic is a crucial domain, more important now than at any point in our history. With a framework for Greenland on the horizon, it’s important to remember that interest in securing the Arctic has been a longstanding foreign policy objective; as such it’s encouraging to see progress being made that will improve security at home and among our allies abroad.

BOOM. Q3 GDP just came in hot, beating economists’ estimates by a full point at 4.3%.
We haven’t seen numbers like these in years, and it’s because the Working Families Tax Cut passed this year is incentivizing investment, restoring the innovation economy, and most importantly is keeping more money where it belongs: in the hands of hard working American families.

For too long, America’s broken permitting system has driven up costs and delayed projects that should take months, not years. The process has become a self-imposed handicap and driven up costs.
Thankfully, the SPEED Act is a critical step toward restoring balance to the permitting process and allowing America to build again.
Thank you to Chairman @RepWesterman and @NatResources for leading this strong bipartisan effort to advance permitting reform.

This week, the House passed my bill, H.R. 3176, legislation that reauthorizes the National Volcano Early Warning and Monitoring System.
This bill is especially critical for Alaska, which is home to more active volcanoes than any other state.
In addition to protecting critical infrastructure and air travel, this system provides early detection and monitoring that can mean the difference between safe evacuations and catastrophic loss of life.

Alaska’s story is one of vast potential and opportunity. Equally as important, America is stronger when Alaska is empowered to lead in energy and resource development.
With the leadership of @POTUS and @HouseGOP, we are advancing legislation at an historic pace to unlock opportunity, strengthen our economy, and ensure we have the energy needed to power America and her allies well into the future.
We’ve known the road to American prosperity begins in Alaska; the rest of America now knows that as well.

H.J.Res. 106, sponsored by @SenDanSullivan, Sen. @lisamurkowski, and @RepNickBegich, overturns the Biden-era Central Yukon Resource Management Plan, which shut down more than 13 million acres in one of Alaska’s most impoverished regions.
— Restores access to vital lands for energy, minerals, and infrastructure.
— Supports major projects like the Ambler Access and Alaska LNG, which will create jobs and strengthen Alaska’s economy.
— Puts Alaska back on the path toward economic independence —powered by responsible development and local decision-making.
— Strengthens national security, lowers costs for working families, and ensures Alaskans shape their future.
H.J.Res. 131, sponsored by the same, reverses the Biden Administration’s regulations on the 1002 Area of Alaska’s North Slope — which, because of its tremendous strategic value and estimated 7.7 billion barrels of oil, Congress explicitly set aside more than 40 years ago for exploration and potential development.
JC Garrett retweeted
At a time when global threats are ever present, particularly in the Arctic, Congress must ensure our military can train as they fight.
H.R. 5131 accomplishes exactly that and ensures our servicemen and women have uninterrupted access to the world-class training spaces they need to remain the strongest fighting force on Earth.
I’m proud to see this important legislation pass the House.
JC Garrett retweeted
Success! The 1002 area of ANWR has now been durably unlocked as the Joe Biden cleanup operation continues. The Senate has passed House Joint Resolution 131, one of several pieces of legislation we have successfully moved through the U.S. House to ensure Alaska has the permanent right to responsibly produce!
Unlocking Alaska is about unlocking jobs, unlocking more take home pay, unlocking a stronger permanent fund, and unlocking generational opportunities for Alaskans.
