We want a society where everyone thrives, no matter where we're from, the papers we hold or the colour of our skin.
Our vision, "We Move: A Manifesto for Migrant Justice," shows how we can achieve this.

To the Mayor of London (@MayorofLondon. @SadiqKhan),
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat plans to come to London in two weeks. This is unacceptable.
I have emailed you and MOPAC asking what City Hall intends to do. This directly affects various communities and matters to all Londoners.
Seema Syeda from JCWI said: “The government’s border regime is pushing people into unsafe routes & criminalising people. The simple, moral answer is to allow people seeking safety to use the same routes as everyone else: train, ferry, plane.

Europe & North America are responsible for the bulk of climate emissions, while our friends in Tongogara face the consequences. We’re working with communities on the frontline of climate breakdown to build lived experience led solutions. Follow @RCCA_Youth for updates✊🏽
Three in four forcibly displaced people live in countries with high-to-extreme exposure to climate-related hazards. This shows how deeply climate change, conflict and forced displacement are now connected. Refugees and asylum seekers often carry the burden of war, conflict and displacement, while also living in host communities that are themselves exposed to heat, drought, flooding and environmental stress.
With the support of @jcwi_uk, @RCCA_Youth is conducting a three-day Tongogara Climate Resilience Discussion with youth and young people in Tongogara Refugee Settlement.
The discussion creates space for young people to share lived experiences of climate-related displacement, education challenges, livelihoods, food security, shelter conditions and community resilience. It also helps strengthen local evidence on how climate and environmental planning can better include refugees, asylum seekers and host communities.
‼️The French police threatened us with arrest when we tried to monitor their brutal evictions of people seeking safety in Calais. These evictions are funded by millions of pounds of British public money.

We are here, because you were there. Shabana Mahmood’s racist and classist ‘earned settlement’ proposals must be scrapped. 🧵[1/4]
These migration flows were often forced, after British imperial rule devastated people’s homelands through exploitation, appropriation and oppression. The resources & labour of the global south powered Britain’s Industrial Revolution. [3/4]
Rayner is correct to say these reforms are un-British. Britain has a long history of invading & occupying other people’s lands. After world war, existing & former citizens of empire were encouraged to migrate to Britain to rebuild the country. 🧵[1/2]

Billionaires are funding fascist hate that is being pushed across the US, UK, and Europe where anti-migrant agendas are being intensified.
But while the far right has billionaires backing, we have community power.
That's why we're launching a fundraiser to fight back.
So we are launching our fundraiser to fight the fascists.

“People seeking asylum and other immigrants we work with only hear one message from this government – you are not welcome.” Writes our Yazan Miri

This weekend at Camden Town Hall, Human Rights Solidarity had the profound honour of hosting a powerful Interfaith Human Rights Iftar. Bringing together voices from Jewish, Christian, Muslim, and broader communities, the evening was united under the theme of community, courage, and the pursuit of dignity, all in a shared commitment to justice and peace, bringing together the broad human rights community in a powerful display of unity and shared purpose.
We were especially grateful to welcome our distinguished guest speakers and were honoured by their presence:
.Welcome Address: Burak Batuhan Karakus (HRS Executive Director)
.Anna Roberts (Executive Director, Burma Campaign UK)
.Fizza Qureshi (co-CEO, Migrants’ Rights Network)
.Graham Bisset (Board Member, Amnesty International UK)
.Hajera Ahmed (Head of Operations, Solace)
.Kerim Balci (HRS Chief Advisor)
.Mia Hasenson-Gross (Executive Director, René Cassin)
.Seema Syeda (Advocacy and Communications Director, JCWI)
.Closing Remarks: Ceyda Kemanci (HRS Women's Committee Head)
During the program, we reaffirmed that human rights are not abstract ideals confined to documents. They come alive in our everyday acts: at our dinner tables, in our neighbourhoods, and in gatherings that bridge faiths and build safer, more inclusive communities for everyone.

The UK government arms and morally supports the Zionist regime. It is complicit in this war. #Iran
This scandal-ridden government is scapegoating migrants for its own failures to tackle the concerns that really matter to people: the cost of living crisis, unemployment & housing.
The UK should look to Spain, not Denmark, welcome migrants & regularise all undocumented people.
“Mahmood will argue next week that migration policies – including forcing people to wait 20 years before being able to claim leave to remain – were entirely consistent with Labour values”
I just despair

The government has gone very far down a very dark road.
This announcement of mass deportations while also seeking to gut rights protections is frightening.
Meanwhile, the home secretary is openly using fascist rhetoric.
We were quoted in the Guardian 👇theguardian.com/politics/202……
The government continues to perpetrate this cruelty and violence in an increasingly desperate attempt to court the far right.
Behind these numbers are real people who have had their lives torn apart.
