Visitors to the Mabo Library will encounter road works on campus next week (starting Sunday). From the Clinical Practice Building to the Saints colleges, stretches of roads and carparks will be cut off – including right outside the Mabo Library and the library carparks.
During this time, you can get to Ed Central via Buchan road (from Western Campus), so buses will drop you off where they normally do, but if you are driving, the closest places to park near the library are PW4, PE7, PE8, PE10 on this map: buff.ly/TZgPu90

JCU Library Special Collections has added the Letizia C. De Rosa Archive to our collection, with photographs, manuscripts, and other material showcasing the life of an Italian-Australian author in North Queensland. See the holdings for the archive: buff.ly/nfeqhXg
Letizia De Rosa received the 2012 PEN Sydney Award and founded the Book Creators Circle, and the De Rosa family ran a guest house in the heart of Cairns for over 50 years. The Letizia C. De Rosa Archive is a rich vein of local history - particularly for the NQ Italian community.
