Being an EDM tour photographer is the most fun I’ve ever had but I will be working a corporate gig that has me making my EDM day rate, but hourly
I took a photo of an artist with their rented private jet and they eventually posted it. The owner of the jet hit me asking for a print, I gave them my quote, and they never replied. Legit it’s 30 mil dollar jet but a couple hundred for a print... eh.
I’m gunna lie on tinder and say I’m 6 feet. I’m actually 5’11 so I think it’s acceptable to round up.

Ok WHY is there a 30 days pay period for companies? It seems like some infuriating formality
I’ve had companies tell me:
-they can pay right away
-they had 90 day pay period after they told me they would pay next day
-they had a 30 day pay period but end up paying me next day
Our agreement was that I was going to be paid the day after the last event, but she hit me with “so you accept credit card?”. I didn’t at the time cuz I didn’t know how I could. I did the best I could with the few people I had at the event and delivered the photos/videos.
I wish I didn’t have to turn down working a festival later this year but my last experience with them was ABYSMAL and even worst, it took months to get paid. If you need photos within a week, I need to get paid within a week.
People from my high school are in GA and that’s gross. I’m tryna sip that don 1942 backstage with people who have only heard of me.
