A much better November 1 activity than watching the Indianapolis Colts 😂
Unashamedly Nov. 1 Christmas Tree family here 🎄

Why the hell is JT still in the game? Why did he play at all today? I’m flabbergasted but, then, it’s the Colts, currently the dumbest franchise in the league. Nothing surprises me anymore.
.@NOHSFball linebacker @Bdressel2027 had 12 more tackles in Friday’s big win over No. 4 Atherton, including 10 solo stops.
He’s up to 99 tackles and 72 solo tackles in 2026.
His 180 career tackles rank 7th all-time at North, and his 117 solo tackles ranks third all-time at @NOMustangs
The all-time solo tackle record is currently 125 by Wes Johnson (2013-15)
Assuming North plays at least 2 more games, Dressel closing in on all-time solo tackle record for Mustangs

Notre Dame is now first nationally in turnover margin, turnovers lost, penalties, sacks allowed and TFLs allowed. These are do-no-harm stats and make the Irish very hard to beat, regardless of style points (or lack thereof).
12 teams in Kentucky enter the postseason riding a 9+ game winning streak.

It would be the most Colts thing ever to end the streak during a dumpster fire season while selling all our pieces
But it’s not happening. Smash the Jags -10 if you partake in such activities 😂

While covering a high school football game last night I caught myself standing next to a D1 Dline coach who was watching a commit. The other team had a lineman having a heck of game. I watched the coach pull out his phone and make a call…
“Do we have film on this kid? I really like him and may want to offer.”
Remember someone is always watching and all it may take is one series.
1st round of the playoff is next Saturday in South Bend for Notre Dame as top ranked Miami comes to town.
Irish gotta have it.
Both teams have shown quite a bit of vulnerability, but ND’s beat up defense and brain dead defensive coordinator the biggest concern going in.
.@BrodiePfeiffer showed how big of a gamer he was last night as @NOHSFball knocked off 4th ranked Atherton
148 passing yards with a beautiful TD pass in crucial moment
88 rush yards and 3 TDs, including the game-winner in the 4th quarter
Five straight games with 3+ TDs for QB1
He’s totaled 34 TDs and over 2K yards for the Mustangs this season
Keep balling QB1!

KROGER FIELD
As @PeteSampson_ and @Matt_Fortuna said this week, nothing Irish could do in this game to make you feel better about them overall.
But - Jerome Bettis Jr. producing big is a potentially significant development for this offense searching for more depth from its receivers
Agree.
Freeman has to take over defensive play calling immediately.
If Chris Ash calls the defense next week it’s difficult to see Irish winning
Notre Dame is going to give me an aneurysm.
Way too many elite pieces on this defense for this to be the product.
We knew Chris Ash needed to be fired 2 weeks into his stint. Last 2 outings for this D have been brutal.
Offense should get Irish out of this one but not walking into Miami with much confidence after what we’ve seen last 2 games.

Big boy second half from @jv3260 offensive line tonight:
Season-high 256 rushing yards for @NOHSFball - 173 in the second half of a comeback win over No. 4 Atherton.
Ravens entered the night allowing 50 rush yards and 7 points per game. Mustangs hung 34 pts and 256 rush yards on ‘em
@ronin_renton ran for 168, @BrodiePfeiffer added 88 and 3 TDs on the ground for
Vance’s JV squad won a conference title. His wife’s Mustang volleyball squad won a regional title last night. His OL absolutely balls tonight.
Good week for the Vance’s!
The play of the night for the Mustangs in their comeback win over No. 4 Atherton.
Trailing 21-7 with 2 minutes left in the first half, North marches length of the field and this toe-tapping TD from Hackler brings Mustangs within 7 with seconds left in the half.
Mustangs take opening possession of second half length of field again to tie it up and pull the successful “Twofer”
Ravens won the middle 8 in the matchup last year and won the game. Mustangs dominated the middle 8 this year and came out with the big win
The tide-turning play of the night - @BrodiePfeiffer hits Hudson Hackler for an 8-yard TD right before halftime.
Mustangs would go on to execute the 2-for-1 scenario and comeback after falling behind 21-7
