Itsuki turning up the heat like she always did. These mid-match shots show why her work rate still stands out decades later. Anyone recognize her opponent? Facing her in the ring meant you had your work cut out for you, that’s for sure!

Itsuki Yamazaki ferries to victory on the shoulders of Devil Masami. I've seen this done before but maybe never quite as far across the ring.

Lioness Asuka takes Itsuki Yamazaki for a swing and we have the best camera angle imaginable to go along for the ride.

Itsuki posed up with a few of her friends and fellow colleagues. With those steely-eyed gazes, who could be on the other end of the ring? 😅 Sometimes strong adversaries require strong allies.

Hanging out with the OG MFT. Tonga (@TheRealKingHaku ) is such an incredible person and loyal to his loved ones. Miss those times!

Noriyo looks poised and determined as she stares down from the turnbuckle. Shots like these show why opponents had to stay alert inside the squared circle. Anyone recognize the technique?

Sometimes you watch the start of a move and just 100% see the future on how the thing is going to have to end. It's fate. The second 1983 Chigusa lifted up Noriyo Tateno like this in one of the very first real Crush Gals tags, the end result was pretty much inevitable. Fate.

Itsuki getting ready as the paper streamers fly. She's focused and prepared for whatever challenge is in front of her. When the going gets tough, it’s always great to have people who cheer loudly and support you no matter what.

Some great shots of the Jumping Bomb Angels with a 1980s flair! We managed to track down an exclusive of Itsuki and another of the pair together. If we can find one of Noriyo (most likely with a pink background), we'll upload it.

I don't think I've ever seen this move by Itsuki Yamazaki done quite like this. It's a great counter and a great offensive move.

More JBA stills from an '80s excerpt from Weekly Pro Wrestling @shupromobile . Noriyo and Itsuki made quite an impact overseas, even posing with their tag-team titles after facing tough competition — champions then, inspiration now.

Even though they are known for being a dynamic tag team, the JBA had storied solo careers as well. Here's Noriyo in an intense match, using some of the signature moves that made her memorable to fans. Does anyone recognize her opponent?
