Students learn about healthy behaviors and ways to improve overall wellness in Ms. Metzgar’s 5th grade class at Honeygo ES. Students worked independently and then in small groups to share their strategies to improve wellness and achieve healthy options; writing was a focus.

The #flexibleseating finds this year are 🙌🏻. It is taking so much willpower not to buy them all! I love the options and the chance to try new things for our special kiddos. Who else is getting excited for the new year? #flexibleclassroom #studentled

.@JBarnes105 bringing the entire Performing Arts Center into her Morning Meeting circle to model how she checks in with students and builds relationships. Immense bravery sharing her “why?” she is such a compassionate & dynamic educator! #CGMD19 @HoneygoElem @BaltCoPS
Context before content...build up others around you instead of breaking everyone around you down. Kids can’t tackle the content until they understand the context in which it can be used. Awesome, inspiring presentation today by @delkec @CommonGroundMD
Bringing back multiple modalities to the classroom Monday!!! @DannyBrassell @CommonGroundMD @BaltCoPS The JOY in teaching, the conditions, the AWESOME!

So so SO proud of this amazing student who came last night to speak. Articulate, talented, and amazing are words that describe her just to name a few. She speaks as eloquently as she writes, and I am blessed to be her teacher. @HoneygoElem #HoneygoOnTheRun
