Imagine if a Jewish doctor in the UK celebrated the Srebrenica massacre, where 8,000 Muslims were killed—or used the anniversary of the Christchurch mosque shootings, where 51 Muslims were murdered, to ghoulishly troll Muslims.
They would be fired, arrested, and every Jewish organization in the UK would issue impassioned statements condemning him. But where are the Muslim groups condemning Aladwan? Where are the police, who know this is illegal glorification of terrorism? Why is she still a doctor in the UK? Does Britain want doctors who wish some of their patients dead?

As a Dual British-Israeli citizen who survived 471 days in Hamas captivity, I am deeply saddened by your decision @Keir_Starmer to recognise Palestinian statehood. This move does not advance peace—it risks rewarding terror. It sends a dangerous message: that violence earns legitimacy.
By legitimising a state entity while Hamas still controls Gaza and continues its campaign of terror, you are not promoting a solution; you are prolonging the conflict. Recognition under these conditions emboldens extremists and undermines any hope for genuine peace.
Shame on you.

Great experience attending the @BHRSociety Sessions 2024 in Manchester. Was able to present my first abstract poster since beginning my career as a cardiac physiologist. Looking forward to further events and sharing our experiences & practices with our worldwide physiology teams!
Amazing to see Tom Lockyer doing so well following his S-ICD implant. Increasing awareness of implantable cardiac devices, their use in the population and the cardiac physiology profession who manage these patients day in day out!

UK healthcare is falling apart, the waiting list is over 7 million appointments, unregulated individuals with no clinical training are delivering healthcare and doctors are being made redundant or are unemployed
Yet our regulator - the general medical Council, is worried about doctors receiving a box of chocolates from a grateful patient. Time to stop rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
