And yes, the token has suffered a significant decline from its previous highs. In fact, Xend Finance's token reached an all-time high of roughly $3 in March 2021. But if you're going to use the current price to criticize the project, then at least tell the complete story. You conveniently ignored one of the most important things about Xend Finance: They have actually built a product. Xend Finance isn't simply a token sitting on a blockchain waiting for people to speculate on it. The Xend Finance App is built as a financial platform that allows users to manage digital assets, convert crypto to Naira, and transfer funds directly to Nigerian bank accounts. The platform also provides access to savings and investment products, including money-market investments, allowing users to put their Naira or supported digital assets to work rather than simply holding them. That's particularly relevant in the Nigerian market. One of the biggest problems for everyday crypto users isn't necessarily buying a token. It's moving between crypto and the traditional financial system. Xend has built infrastructure around that exact problem. A user can hold crypto, convert it to Naira and move the proceeds to a Nigerian bank account without having to rely on the traditional P2P process. Xend's app documentation specifically highlights direct transfers to Nigerian banks. And they've gone beyond simple crypto conversion. The app introduced Money Markets, giving users access to investment opportunities such as bonds, mutual funds and other money-market instruments. It also introduced support for @cngn_co , allowing users to invest using Naira. So when you post a screenshot of a ~$258 token balance and say: “Welcome to crypto” you're telling only one part of the story. Crypto is volatile. Extremely volatile. A token trading far below its previous ATH doesn't automatically mean the underlying company, product or technology has no value. Those are separate questions. If we're going to evaluate Xend Finance seriously, let's talk about: - Product. - Users. - Revenue. - Adoption. - Development. - Token utility. - Liquidity. - Token distribution. - Execution. - And the future roadmap. Those are legitimate things to investigate. But reducing an entire project to the current value of its token is like judging a technology company solely by the current price of its stock without looking at what the company has actually built. And then there's another part of your framing that deserves questioning: Why specifically emphasize that this is a “Nigerian project”? If the point is that $XRWA has fallen significantly, then say that. If the point is that Xend Finance hasn't delivered, then demonstrate that. If the point is that the product doesn't work, show us. But what exactly does being Nigerian add to the argument? Xend Finance is an African-built project that has attracted international backing, including Binance and Google Launchpad, and has spent years building products around DeFi, digital assets and real-world financial access. Its own platform says its DeFi products have reached more than 200,000 users. You don't have to like $XRWA. You don't have to believe in the project. You don't even have to be bullish on Xend Finance. But if you're going to criticize it, criticize the project not its nationality. And if you're going to use price as your primary evidence, at least acknowledge the full journey: ATH ≈ $3 in 2021 → years of crypto market cycles → current price decline → while the team continued building products. That's a much more honest picture of what happened. A SS can show you what a token is worth today.
