My Plan N jumped ~20% and CMS announced the deductible for HD-G is $3,050 in 2027. I'll need to recalculate to see if Plan G, Plan N, or Plan HD-G was the best option after 5 yrs. Subscribe on @YouTube for an update later this year.

Separately, Tom Keene mentioned Warsh would ask FOMC not to hike because of election. I very much doubt anyone on the FOMC will raise that point - they are aware the transcript will be published at some point - while the midterms will be in the back of any FOMC member's head - they are human after all - none of them will want to be on the record bringing up politics. FWIW, my opinion on this is shaped by communication with former FOMC members.

CPI is up, but did September Fed Funds rise still the thunder? I still think if FOMC does raise one more time, it will be in December.

As a retired wordsmith, I should have caught that: "still" should read "steal."

I'm just a DIY retiree who has been tracking inflation for a while. But I think FOMC already raised once, and will save their last hike for December.

Friends of free markets lament that we need, but can’t find, new Milton Friedmans to refute emboldened socialists. We might have better luck if we remembered what we are trying to find, writes Arthur M. Diamond on.wsj.com/4yfDG8R

Before you decide to subscribe, check out my latest YouTube video on some current-year glitches. Still worth the money for long-range planning, but don't rely on a current-year number without checking!
Boldin is raising its price Oct. 15 to $168/yr, but if you subscribe before then, you lock in $144/yr rate. So, is Boldin like issue-age rated Medigap plans?
