It's official: #Estonia has legalised marriage equality. We join other Nordic nations with this historic decision.
I'm proud of my country. We're building a society where everyone’s rights are respected and people can love freely.
The decision will enter into force from 2024.

Today, 74 years ago, Soviet Russia took with violence around 22,000 Estonians from their homes in the middle of the night and put them on overcrowded, soiled, and freezing cattle wagons.
Around 80% of the deported persons were women and young children. A great number of them died on the way to the concentration camps in Siberia.
Around 100,000 Estonians, Latvians, and Lithuanians were deported to Russia during the March deportations.
