I turned 24 today.
Here are 24 life lessons I would give to my 18-year-old self 👇
1.) Don’t go to university because other people told you so. Only go if in your heart you really want yourself to go.

The #1 constraint for coaches under $30k/month is consistent lead generation.
If you fix this, you fly to $30k/month.
So stop focusing on changing your coaching program, fiddling with your website, designing your logo, and 10,000 other things that don't generate leads.
100% of your energy towards lead gen.
Go.

I've made over $2.1 million PURELY from my DM system.
Pros of my DM system:
1. Extremely predictable. I know my appointment booking rate. So can just reverse engineer how many DMs to send based on how much money I want to make.
2. Easy to outsource. I have my virtual assistants take over 100% of my DM system.
3. 90%+ profit margins. The ONLY cost of this is if you want to outsource the DMs. Besides that it's all profit.
First order of business for 2025:
Eliminate alcohol once again.
Holidays are always a good reminder for me of how terrible I feel after I drink.
Picked up a kickboxing lesson again before the end of the year so it doesn't count as a New Year resolution.
Ready to get back in training.
I have not seen the sun in the last 14 days.
Winter depression is definitely a thing when you live in the Netherlands.
Next year, I'll have to look for a sunnier spot in Southern Europe or South America for wintertime.
Time to make it happen 🙏.
Unpopular opinion:
Social media is not as bad as everybody makes it out to be.
I met some of the most interesting people on social media that I would’ve never met in real life.
It opened my mind to concepts I would’ve never learned otherwise.
Create, connect, explore.
Use social media as a learning and networking platform.
Not to doom scroll your problems away.
We got a new closing role.
$7-10k OTE in the coaching niche.
The last one didn’t work out, unfortunately.
But it gave me the experience to find a better one.
Energy is never wasted.
Time to lock in and get some proper results.
My no-goes during my morning routine
- No coffee for the first 90 minutes
- No longer routine than 30 mins
- No snooze, right out of bed
- No phone
What are your anti-habits during the morning?
If you manipulate someone to do something that’s in their best interest.
You're not manipulating them.
You're helping them to get out of their own way.
Gentle reminder that nobody really knows what they’re doing.
Don’t worry if you're doubting yourself on your plan.
We’re all figuring it out along the way.
Action is the only way forward.
