It's not that the polls are "wrong". It's that telling us that Canadians have been misinformed and misled as never before in history, without examining the misinformation, or who's misleading and why, or setting the record straight is just simply more misleading propaganda.

As a competition lawyer I find it particularly galling that politicians blame a revenue neutral carbon price for high costs rather than actually addressing the fact that we have monopolies or near monopolies in so many key sectors from grocery to banking to telecoms to airlines.

More than anything else, the loss of local papers and the integration of those empty spaces into the right wing PostMedia, has caused the current political environment of division and feelings over facts.
Trudeau didn’t divide us. But maybe PostMedia did.
