I agree. But we have to put some of the onus back on ourselves as consumers. Networks respond to numbers, and the reality is there’s only a small subset of ppl who actively support Black music outside of R&B & HH. They’re going program what they believe will bring in ratings.

I often wish that BET and others would take a chance on alt areas of Black music (like they used to), but y’all know these parent companies ain’t giving us that kinda leeway.
