Is anyone here involved in Spotify monetization and experienced having a channel rejected despite meeting all the eligibility requirements?
I’m currently dealing with this issue and would really appreciate any guidance from someone who’s been able to resolve the issue. 🙏
Slack started as a video game that nobody played
Shopify started as an snowboard shop that couldn't sell shit
I started a gaming org at 17, won an Emmy at 21, and now run a 100+ person media company that makes tech companies go viral
Career planning is a scam just keep doing weird stuff

YouTube is stealing $200,000 from me every single month!
Over the last year, my team and I built a gaming channel network that generated over 100 million long-form views every month.
Then overnight, my two best performing channels were removed.
Not demonetized. Completely removed off the platform.
For the last 3 months, I've been in constant contact with YouTube trying to understand why.
One person told me it was circumvention.
Another said it was spam and deceptive practices.
Two different explanations.
One situation.
Not one clear answer.
How are creators supposed to learn from mistakes when the platform itself can't consistently explain what the mistake even was?
That's the real issue.
Complete lack of transparency.
Somewhere along the way, YouTube's automated moderation systems became the judge, jury, and executioner.
A channel gets flagged.
A decision gets made.
Years of work disappear overnight.
And the people affected are left with little more than an automated email and a generic appeal process.
This used to be a platform where creators could focus on entertaining audiences and building communities.
Now many creators live in fear, wondering when a random demonetization, restriction, or termination might hit their channel next.
And this isn't just a hobby anymore.
This pays mortgages.
This feeds families.
This supports my team of 25+ people.
Editors.
Designers.
Actors.
Real people who have spent the last 3 months waiting for answers alongside me.
Instead, we've received automated responses and copy-and-paste emails.
Creators wait weeks for a real human, and when we finally get one, the answers often raise more questions than they solve.
Nobody should have to gamble their livelihood on vague policy enforcement and automated support systems.
Nobody should spend months trying to decode conflicting answers from different representatives.
And nobody should lose years of work without receiving a clear explanation why.
I know I'm not alone in this.
If you've been demonetized, shadowbanned, age-restricted, suspended, or terminated without a real explanation, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
We're forced to play guessing games with appeals because YouTube refuses to communicate clearly.
Making this post is my last resort.
Not because I want sympathy.
Because I want answers.
And because thousands of other creators are dealing with the exact same problem.
If you've experienced something similar, tag @TeamYouTube.
Because creators deserve answers!

Hello @TeamYouTube, help me out please. 🙏🏼
Hello @TeamYouTube
My channel "Bloxies" was demonetized last week for "inauthentic content."
We do not mass produce or create anything inauthentic, it is Roblox roleplay and skit content.
We ideate, script, film, edit and produce every piece of content. Here is the production process...
I am simply requesting a human review as I have gotten denied through the standard appeal process with a generic copy/paste response and the unlisted Appeal video was not reviewed as it has no views.
I hope to hear from you soon and resolve this huge misunderstanding, thank you. @YouTubeCreators @YouTube

Insane how 3 deaths from Hantavirus brings more attention to Western media than Zionists killing +2,870 civilians in Lebanon.

🚨YOUTUBERS AND BACKEND WORKERS🚨
I’m looking for people with drive, passion, skills, and eagerness to learn for my team to build out one of the strongest ideation departments for the biggest channel on YouTube!
I want thumbnail artists, scriptwriters, strategists, ideationists, YouTubers, editors, and anyone else who is creative to hit me up and try something new and see if you’re a good fit for my team.
This is for ideation. I love seeing people from all walks of this industry give different insights on what makes a good YouTube video!
Hit me up in DMS with what Youtube/professional background you come from and your time zones and we will go from there! (YOU DO NOT NEED DIRECT IDEATION EXPERIENCE!)🔥

If you want to get opportunities in the space as a YouTuber or backend worker you NEED to do this:
Networking. And no. Not that lame networking of cold outreach. You need to network slowly.
Start with a group of creators of similar size. Connect with their connections. Think of it as a base of a tree and you’re going out on branches. It’ll help your name get out there and your mutuals help with easier access to others you may be interested in.
It’s much easier to naturally allow a network to happen than cold outreach. The sad reality is most creators look at mutuals of a person trying to reach out and see if they’re worth the time and effort.
Connections and mutuals show you care, you are working hard, and you’re likely reliable as a YouTuber or backend worker.

@TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @nealmohan I'm encountering a system glitch that unfortunatly put me in a loop that I cannot get out of, and it directly affects the livelihood of my family and I.
Please get a human to review both channels featured in this appeal video, it would mean the world to me.

🚨 PLEASE READ:
2 months ago, two of my YouTube channels got demonetized for “reused content”… even though both channels had literally NO videos uploaded.
Yeah. Somehow channels with no content were flagged for reused content.
I spent weeks going back and forth with YouTube support trying to get someone to actually look at it. After contacting them multiple times, I was eventually warned that if I kept bringing up the issue, I could lose access to Partner Support completely.
So I tried reaching out on X/Twitter instead. They DM’d me, I explained everything, and basically got told: “wait 90 days and re-apply.”
So that’s what I did..
During those 90 days, I kept working, gained another 4,000 watch hours on both channels, and finally got the chance to apply again.
I re-applied… and got denied almost instantly for “related channels.”
Here’s the part that makes no sense:
The “related channels” they’re talking about are the SAME channels I was re-applying with.
So now ALL of my channels have been demonetized because they’re supposedly “related” to each other.
I’ve even tried starting fresh with brand new channels, grew them from scratch, and those got demonetized too.
Now I’m being told to wait ANOTHER 90 days.
At this point, I’ve lost basically every income stream I had because of what feels like an automated system mistake.
I’m struggling to pay rent, stressing every day, and honestly my mental health has gotten pretty bad from all of this.
I don’t want special treatment. I just want an actual human being at YouTube to review my channels instead of everything being handled by bots.
I have a family to support and I genuinely don’t know what else to do anymore...

The biggest flaw I see smaller creators doing is this:
Asking for advice, just to take it as a challenge to show you’re better.
You asked for insight, and while you might not agree with it, shooting down and not taking those criticisms is what is leading you to not improving more quickly and keeping you under even 10k views.
Take notes, ask questions, and listen. Drop the ego and narcissistic attitude. You aren’t helping yourself.
Got approached by Adspower for a referral promo thing. I don’t promote things I don’t personally use or can’t vouch for
But if you’re (still) doing yt, I’d definitely recommend adspower. Tried a few other browsers but they don’t sync the profiles as well in my experience.
Also if you’re not sure how to set it up, dm me, will be happy to guide
idk if anyone will even sign up with my referral link but leaving it here anyway

YouTube's "Inauthentic Content" policy is hitting established channels with no warning.
What's happening:
Channels with 4+ years of clean history are being demonetized overnight
Appeals are getting rejected even when creators show full production workflows
No specific explanation is given, just the label "Inauthentic Content"
Creators can't reapply for 90 days
Teams and salaries are at risk in the meantime
