ANNOUNCEMENT 📢
Season 2 was meant to be a fresh start, and for a lot of you it hasn't felt like one. We sped up progression on deliberately and tried to balance the game better, as set out in the patch notes, but it was the wrong call.
Some players are reaching end game gear like Tier 4 armour and MBTs within days, so the wipe never really landed.
Some things are clearly out of balance and we'll fix them. Others have the community split, so we want to see how those play out first.
We won't be doing a knee jerk reset this weekend, as that would be unfair on everyone already enjoying the climb. Instead, we're looking at significantly bringing forward Season 3 and some of its content, so you get a proper fresh start. More details in our dev vlog next week.

Wardogs season 2 is so fucking slow and boring. Fuck messing with progression, let it all be unlocked and just require money or return it back to beta progression.
Yes the game might die faster but at least let people have fun. Right now, it’s fucking boring.

I noticed this today upon going live. Suddenly after 10 years my dashboard is saying we now have to meet a certain subscriber requirement three months in a row to retain our 70/30 split (not including gift subs or primes)
NOW HERES THE WILD PART.
Because at the end of last month we did our yearly subathon (TAGFEST) where we encourage gift subs - what’s happened is many of our regular ‘paying’ subs caught a gift sub before manually re subbing themselves, which normally would be absolutely fine… BUT what this means is this month we are now under the required sub amount to keep the 70/30 split.
SO.. because we made twitch more money at the end of last month.. this month we may now lose our 70/30 split because of the wonky mechanics to do with regular subs catching a gifted 🫠
I feel this is being massively over-looked @TwitchSupport
I also have no idea if we are infact one of the streamers who have a ‘long standing agreement’ (is 10 years long enough?) and this is just a technical change as it’s not documented anywhere on our dashboard.
We have longstanding agreements with a limited number of streamers who have been with Twitch since its early days.
We are honoring these historical contracts and we are not changing payout structure or requirements to sustain their payout structure with this change.
Today's change is a backend technical update to migrate everyone to the same system to help us streamline payouts.
