These @Mosaic_ES 2nd graders worked SO hard on their pumpkin contest submission. I wonder if anyone will recognize the character they were trying to create 🤔🤣

These 2nd grade @Mosaic_ES students really enjoyed their fall field trip to Cox Farms! Yay for farms and pumpkins 🧡 Thank you to our amazing parent chaperones. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Week 7 with these @Mosaic_ES 2nd graders flew by! We practiced greeting each other in sign language, worked with adjectives in drafting our “Haunted House For Sale” brochures, and shared reading time at recess! These students sure do L💙VE to read!

Our new favorite thing in the classroom? Our super cool stump cushions! They make working on our tile floor so much more comfy and fun. 🤩 Thank you amazing parents!

Week 5 is in the books! We found we’re BIG fans of moving while we math.😊 Plus, our Monarch butterflies migrated from the hallway to our room, and our hallway tree is ready for fall 🍂🍁 Happy weekend Golden Nuggets & Shana Tova to those celebrating Yom Kippur 🧡
@Mosaic_ES
We’ve been talking about Monarch butterfly habitats and characteristics. Today we made our own Monarch butterfly art to study their patterns and colors.
Fingers crossed Goldie emerges soon! 🤞

Our @Mosaic_ES staff is amazing! We had a great afternoon pulling a plane. Yep, you read that correctly. We raised money in support of the @SpecialOlympics and were able to pull an 82 ton FedEx plane! We take pride in leading by example~learn, give, thrive! ✈️💪🏻❤️ @fcpsnews
Shhhh 🤫 Don’t tell my @Mosaic_ES 2nd graders, but they’re getting a surprise class pet today! 🦋

These @Mosaic_ES Mustangs jumped right in and worked hard this Monday morning! First grade was busy writing about their weekends. These 2nd graders in @ItsMsGoff class were adding thoughts to their special idea notebook. What a great way to generate writing topics! 🤔📝🖍️
Week 2 is in the books! Lots of hard work making our class promise & fantastic fun with math games! 🫶 @Mosaic_ES
