I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Utah. First off, I want to thank my amazing coaches who have mentored me throughout my journey. Thank you, Coach Joel Lovelady, for believing in me from such a young age and giving me the opportunity to love the game. You have had a huge impact on my life by always pushing me to become the player that now gets to play at the next level. I also want to thank both Coach Frenchs and Coach Pinky for being there as well. Next, I want to give a big thank you to Coach Ashley Vanboxmeer. I started playing for Ashley when I was 14. She has helped me grow and develop so much over these three years, not only in the physical part of the game but also in the mental aspect. I will always be grateful for the opportunity you have given me, and I wouldn’t want to go through the process with anyone else. Big shoutout to Coach Birchfield and Coach Remley for helping me in the recruiting process and always being some of my biggest fans. I would like to thank the Utah coaching staff for giving me this opportunity to play the sport I love for another 4 years! Thank you Coach A, Coach Court, Coach Parker, Coach Gibson, and Coach Howard for letting me pursue my dream. Last but not least, I want to thank my family, especially my dad. I would say my dad is definitely my #1 fan. He is the kind of dad who will sacrifice things in his life to help others. My dad has not only done that for me but for many of my teammates and friends. Even though sometimes things were rough and didn’t always go our way, he stuck by my side, and we always got back to work. My family has been nothing but supportive of my decision. And I’m so proud to announce that I will be a future Ute! ❤️🤍❤️🤍 @Utah_Softball @CoachA_Utah @kaija_gibson @Courtmartinez9 @Katelynhoward04
