The real reason why Ole Miss treats beating LSU like a national championship because it’s the closest they ever get to one. Another season will come and go without a trophy in Oxford but they’ll cling to beating their big brother like it belongs in the trophy case. When championships aren’t realistic rivalry wins become Super Bowls. Enjoy the parade. Hang the banner.

Ole Miss and its 7th rated offense efficiency-wise, will not have its head coach, its OC, its Co-OC and WR coach for whatever is next. The new HC is the DC of the lowest-rated defense efficiency-wise (52nd) of a CFP contender. Seems like something the committee has to address.
