The page for our new game is up on Steam, with a playable demo landing very very soon! Go wishlist!!
Wheel of Death is a spin on the Balatro "big-numbers-go-up" genre. Modify the wheel, play chips, tarot cards, add seals and choose a hero!

Great watch about the insanity that is AI game dev rn.
Every game is getting decompiled and put together (minecraft in skyrim, pokemon in balatro...). Every game mechanic is becoming open source... They even recreated adobe photoshop from source??

Jev is probably the best thing to ever happen to AI, and my favorite thing to experiment with.
Unlike generative AI that outsources creative thinking and comes with lots more ethical (and global) implications, Jev REWARDS creative thinking and genuinely improves parts of life.

I made a video game and now I can launch sales whenever I want and call them whatever I want. No one can stop me.
I'd like to formally announce the "we made a sexy tentacle hero with a spooky tentacle island and we want people to play him so the game is on sale for a week" sale!
Check it out: store.steampowered.com/app/3…

Hit 100 reviews on Steam today and holding strong at 97% positive. Cool little milestone to hit in Early Access for our first game!
I can with confidence say that everyone who has these takes has never developed a real game
I’m pretty sure gaming as a category is dead because everyone is just gonna build their own games
Games don’t have ongoing maintenance cost like companies replacing SaaS vendors
Perhaps an argument for wanting someone else to build an experience for you, easier to watch a movie than create one.
But video games and vibe coding are so close the difference between creating the form and playing in a form is getting closer and closer to zero.
So why play someone else’s game?
Just pay chatgpt $20 and make you own
While working on our next game i got completely sucked into a playtest, forgetting what i was doing and losing track of time..
This has to be the best possible metric to track in game dev right? Having a genuinely fun game > everything else
doing my first little dev stream on the new youtube channel, come hang!

Here are some open source project I've been working on (linked below):
- Steam Uploader: putting builds up on steam was such a bad experience, I built a little tool to make it easier
- SkyShard Public: all of our unit, enchant, encounter, hero... data. For people making tools
- Godot plugin updater: Godot plugins don't have native update support. This little script sets up projects with all plugins you want and keeps them updated
- GodexCLI: a Godot plugin that functions as an inline auto-complete using Codex. Anti vibe-coding, just more efficiency
I cant believe i was paying for adobe products when tools like gimp and kdenlive exist. There's so much cool free software out there.
Im a digital farmer, just planting seeds hoping some of them may sprout (these videos are months old)
To me, the most admirable thing someone can do that really resonates (when playing a game, watching a movie etc...) is when that thing confidently knows what it wants to be and unapologetically follows that unique vision.
