🔥 Major @NeoTokyoCode Update 👀 S1 Identity NFT Minting Back On 🛰️ What I’ll cover in this issue: 👉 Why are ID’s so sought after? 👉 How will minting auctions work? 👉 How high could auctions go? 👉 Why is this big news for BYTES? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🔹S1 Identity NFT minting is being turned back on via a weekly auction system payable in BYTES, beginning August 4th 🆔 Why are ID’s so sought after? 🔹To give you an idea of how sought after the IDs are, of the 275 ID’s available (not inside assembled S1’s), there are none listed, and the last time someone let go of one was for 3Ξ 14 months ago 🔹The other 3 parts required to assemble an S1 (Item Cache, Vault, Land) are somewhat readily available 🔹It’s the Identities that are the hardest to get— for the past 2+ years, you could only get one by buying a full Citizen and disassembling ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🆔 How will minting auctions work? 🔹Minting will be reintroduced but this time, more sustainably 🔹Every Monday at noon EST, an auction process will begin and last for 48 hours 🔹The winner of the auction will receive a randomly minted S1 ID, and it could be a rare ID, which increases the bidding speculation 🔹ID Collection size will never exceed 2500; my rough math reveals this would leave about 144 left to be minted 🔹This would be almost 3 years’ worth on a weekly timeframe, but NT reserves the right to adjust “weekly cadence” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🆔 How high could auctions go? 🔹It stands to reason that some collectors would be willing to bid on an S1 Identity, hoping to roll a rare, for as high as the floor price of a fully assembled S1 🔹But why? A serious collector or assembler is willing to buy a floor S1 for its parts, just to get an ID to mix with other, more rare parts 🔹This would put the potential high bid on an S1 Identity auction near 4000 BYTES (~$8500) but let’s say 3-4k BYTES to be conservative ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🤑 Why is this big news for BYTES? 🔹Currently, only ~1900 BYTES/day are being emitted to staked Citizens, or 13.3k/week 🔹If you agree that weekly auctions could bring in 3-4k BYTES tokens per week, of which 80% will be burned and 20% locked in LP… 🔹That would effectively counterbalance the newly emitted supply of BYTES by a factor of -22.5-30% each and every week while also strengthening BYTES liquidity (win-win) 🔹That’s basically the same as reducing sell pressure by 22.5-30% not to mention burning a chunk of available supply permanently 🔹Add in potential new demand for BYTES via the upcoming @ByteStreet Launchpad, and this could be the impact combo that takes BYTES to the next level ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 📝 Note that my estimates on auction high bidding is purely speculative and also based on the current price of BYTES and S1 floor dynamics, which could change drastically 🚫 Not financial advice, do your own research, take responsibility for your own decisions 🗼Grand Rising
