I think it’s easy to blame Epic, but at the end of the day it starts with the players. You want more visibility? Start creating it. I can literally count on one hand the amount of people that stream mobile events or even make videos on them. That’s a problem. Hardman is doing it the best, but even he could be doing more in terms of long form and shorts. Nobody else puts in the effort. You’ve got people like Vestalix who claim they want the scene to grow, but they post zero content or provide any other value to mobile other than being a glorified Epic customer support staff. Multiple people have made thousands of dollars off these mobile prize pools yet where are the 3rd party tournaments? A $200 tournament organized and streamed by a player can go a long way. I think people refuse to put in the extra work and it shows. Mobile gets no visibility because most of the players are either 1) selfish and just want to bag out and dip or 2) lazy and know the work it takes to go the extra mile to stream and make content and choose not to do it.
