My biggest enemy isn't a person.
It's the version of me that says, "I'll do it tomorrow." 😭😭

Our study @acsJACS found that suicide was the leading cause of death among surgical residents in the US.
In recent years, nearly 1 in 2 deaths were suicides, more than accidents, cancer, and other medical conditions combined.
What are we doing wrong and what can we do about it?

if you're scared to do something but think about it often, it's probably the exact thing you need to do to unlock the next chapter in your life. embrace the fear, welcome the change, and go after what you want with full force

Major cheat code for life: Become difficult to rush. The world will pressure you to rush into everything. Rushed decisions. Rushed conversations. Rushed relationships. Rushed timelines. There's immense power in rejecting that trend. Slow down. Create space to think clearly.

Idk but Michelle Obama telling Barack “You told me all those years ago that you couldn't promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life. And, of course you outdid yourself and managed to give me both." is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard someone say to another 🥹

Normalize buying land with your siblings and closest friends and building a place where your families can grow together.
Modern isolation isn't how people were meant to live. A few generations ago, extended families often lived just down the road from one another. Meals were shared, support was always nearby, and childcare wasn't a constant concern.
Bring back the village.
