2027 6’1” point guard Tysen Jefferson showed why he ranks among the best point guards in Florida’s 2027 class while playing for Camp Oliver at Issa Bucket XBL in Tampa. He put pressure on the defense by getting downhill and attacking the basket, while also knocking down shots from beyond the arc. His ability to create off the dribble allowed him to generate scoring opportunities and keep defenders on their heels. Jefferson also showed the ability to create for others, pushing the ball ahead in transition, delivering drop-off passes around the rim, and finding open shooters on kick-outs. He recognized when to attack for his own shot and when to draw defenders before getting teammates involved. Defensively, Jefferson stayed in front of the ball and worked to contain opposing guards. He also came away with steals, disrupting possessions and creating additional opportunities for his team. With his ability to score, set up teammates, and compete defensively, Jefferson has all the makings of a low-major Division I player. @Tysenj_2027 @DesmondOliver2 @IssaBucketPro @XBLHoops
