Hasan Piker clocked Neera Tanden's reason for wanting Abdul El-Sayed to lose. Neera claims to want Abdul to win, but if he wins, it will go against her entire argument about leftist candidates needing to moderate to the center:
"Here's the issue with Neera Tanden: this is at the heart of her commentary. If this argument fails, Neera Tanden is out of a fucking job. Neera Tanden is out of a job if Abdul El-Sayed, who has not pivoted to the center to win over these supposed moderate voters that Neera Tanden claims she knows very well. If Abdul El-Sayed wins them over and wins the election, this is going to be a giant problem. Or if Abdul El-Sayed doesn't win over these mythical moderates, because maybe they exist and they didn't want to vote, but wins over other low-propensity voters for example, then again, Neera Tanden's argument falls apart. Underestimate @RahmEmanuel at your own risk. He knows how to win. He knows how to fight. And he knows how to message.
And no one will out work him. Regardless of whether he wins the Democratic nomination in 2028 he will make an impact on the race. You can be sure of that. Don't take your eyes off of him. At the minimum, learn from him.
