A Nazi celebration in Oslo. Today in Oslo, the auction house "Valkyrie Historical Auctions" is expected to hold an auction of a fragment of a Torah scroll that was looted by German SS soldiers during the Holocaust. It is a parchment sheet from a Torah scroll that was desecrated, looted and defaced by the SS, and was even used as wrapping paper by SS soldiers. At the same time, the Norwegian government is expected to cancel its financial support for visits by Norwegian students to extermination camps. Auctions of sacred texts looted by the Nazis: IN. Visits to extermination camps: OUT. Israel expects the Norwegian government to put an immediate stop to this moral obscenity.

🌿 The olive, one of the Bible’s seven blessed species of the Land of Israel, is being harvested now. In this week’s Torah portion, Noach, a dove returns with an olive branch, a symbol of peace and new beginnings that lives on until today in Israel’s national emblem. A timeless symbol of the peace we continue to hope for. Shabbat Shalom from Israel! 🇮🇱🕊️ 📸 @ArnonBossani

Paris protests? Cue the Greta Thunberg and “Pro-Palestine” brigade. Different protest, same familiar faces, same predictable slogans. The cause? Almost irrelevant. The facts? Optional. The cameras? Essential.

40 years ago today, Amal and Hezbollah jihadists abducted Israeli airman Ron Arad. 40 years of unanswered questions. 40 years of longing. 40 years of a family waiting. Time has not erased his memory, nor weakened our commitment. Ron Arad has not been forgotten. We will never stop fighting to bring him home. 🇮🇱

25 years ago today, on October 17, 2001, Israel’s Minister of Tourism, Rehavam Ze’evi, was brutally murdered in Jerusalem by terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. A leader and a public servant who dedicated his life to the State of Israel. 25 years later, we remember his life, his service and his murder by Palestinian terrorists. May his memory be a blessing. 🇮🇱

💗 A Little Hair, A Lot of Heart. The Embassy of Israel in the Philippines once again joined Rizal Medical Center (RMC) and Makati Medical Center Foundation (MMCF) for #ISHAir Your Hair, supporting breast cancer awareness through hair donation. 🇮🇱🇵🇭 Amb Dana Kursh donated her hair in solidarity with cancer patients, with Emphasis Salon helping make every donation count. She also highlighted the ABCs of fighting breast cancer: Awareness, Bravery, and Compassion, because early detection matters, courage deserves support, and compassion is part of Filipino DNA. The Embassy salutes all hair donors, healthcare workers, and partners who made this initiative possible. Every strand donated helps restore confidence and reminds cancer patients that they are not alone. 💗 #IsraelPhilippines #ISHAirYourHair #EmphasisSalon #Kedma

From losing his leg to crossing the Ironman finish line! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️🇮🇱 After losing his leg during the Iron Swords war, Boris Shtonda went on to complete the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, USA, one of the toughest triathlons in the world. He crossed the finish line waving the Israeli flag, reminding us what determination, strength and the Israeli spirit are all about. This is what Israeli resilience looks like. 🇮🇱❤️ #ironman #triathlon #parasports #resilience #teamisrael

Music festivals are meant to be a place of unity, freedom, and a place to make memories. For many, it was their last memory. While time passes, we will hold on to their memories forever❤️‍🩹 #unforgo7ten #neverforget #weremember #rememberthem #isreal

Some embraces say everything words cannot. On October 13, 2025, the final 20 living hostages returned from Gaza following two years in Palestinian Hamas' captivity. Their families could finally hold them again after 738 days, and an entire nation shared their relief, even as we hold deep grief for those who did not return home alive. One year later, we hold the survivors and their families close as they continue to heal and carry the memory of those we lost with us always. 💛🇮🇱 #unforgo7ten

One year ago today, after two years in Hamas captivity, Israeli hostages were finally reunited with their families. 🎗️🇮🇱 The first hugs. The tears. The overwhelming relief after 738 days of unimaginable suffering at the hands of the Hamas terrorist organization. For two years, an entire nation held its breath, waiting for these moments. And finally, we could breathe again. ❤️ #unforgo7ten #israel #hostages #familyreunion #october7

Three years after October 7, over 1,000 Christians from around the world came to the Nova massacre site. Guided by their faith, they came to stand with Israel, to remember, and to make sure these stories are never forgotten. Now they will carry those voices home. ✝️🇮🇱 #unforgo7ten #christiansinisrael #standwithisrael #christianfaith #neverforget

They came with a simple wish: to dance and listen to music. At the Nova memorial, candles shine in the darkness honoring the bright, young lives stolen on October 7. Each flame represents a person whose light lives on in the hearts of those who love them. We will never forget you. 🕯️ 📹 @eliyashabtay #unforgo7ten #neverforget #weremember #rememberthem #isreal

One year later, Hezbollah's indiscriminate cluster munitions fired against Israeli civilians are still claiming lives. A school trip in northern Israel turned into a tragedy. A 15-year old child was killed, with 24 schoolchildren and teachers wounded in the explosion. The IDF's initial assessment points to an unexploded Hezbollah cluster munition. Hezbollah's weapons continue to endanger civilians long after the fighting ends. timesofisrael.com/teen-kille…

They tried to take down NAZA: The Real Story. They failed. This morning, the Israeli documentary production was temporarily taken offline following a coordinated campaign by radical Islamist groups. Apparently, exposing what happened in Gaza and backing it up with evidence was a little too inconvenient. Unfortunately for them, the film is now back online. 🎬 Join the millions who've already watched. See for yourself: nazadocumentary.com/film

The Embassy of Israel in Manila, together with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the OWWA Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), commemorated the third anniversary of the October 7, 2023 attacks, honoring the Filipino victims and remembering the Israeli and Filipino lives lost. Led by Amb Dana Kursh, the ceremony brought together the victims’ families, survivors, Philippine government officials, and friends from the diplomatic community for a candle-lighting ceremony and photo exhibit under the theme “Three Years of Resilience Despite the Loss.” The ceremony served as a tribute to the eight Filipino victims and a reminder that they and their families will not be forgotten. #UNFORGO7TEN #WeRemember #Israel #israelphilippines
