Congressional staffers from across Texas recently visited Israel, gaining firsthand insight into the country’s history, security challenges, and resilience. Representing offices from across the Texas congressional delegation, the group visited Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yad Vashem, the Old City of Jerusalem, and the Western Wall. The delegation also visited Majdal Shams, where they paid tribute to the 12 children killed in a Hezbollah rocket attack, and reflected on the lives lost during the October 7 terrorist attacks. We are grateful for their visit and their commitment to strengthening the enduring relationship between Israel and Texas through firsthand engagement and understanding. 🇮🇱🇺🇸

40 years ago today, Amal and Hezbollah jihadists abducted Israeli airman Ron Arad. 40 years of unanswered questions. 40 years of longing. 40 years of a family waiting. Time has not erased his memory, nor weakened our commitment. Ron Arad has not been forgotten. We will never stop fighting to bring him home. 🇮🇱

Last week, the Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest, together with the @jfedhtx and the @erjcchouston, gathered with our community to mark three years since the October 7 terrorist attacks and honor the victims and all those forever changed by that day. The evening included memorial prayers, remarks from Deputy Consul General @ShoshanElad and Jewish Federation President and CEO Renée Wizig-Barrios, and a candle-lighting ceremony in remembrance of those we lost. We were honored to present a special screening of Find Me, Okay?, a documentary directed by Yula Gidron that follows the family and loved ones of Eden Yerushalmi through their struggle to bring her home after she was taken hostage by Hamas on October 7. Following the screening, director Yula Gidron and Arbel Ashkenazy, Eden’s best friend and a survivor of the Nova Music Festival massacre, joined in a deeply moving conversation about love, loss, and remembrance. The evening concluded with our community singing Hatikvah together, united in grief, remembrance, and hope. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, speakers, volunteers, student performers, and everyone who joined us to honor the lives lost and stand alongside those who continue to carry the weight of October 7. Three years later, we remember. We mourn. And we stand together. May their memories be a blessing. 🕯️🇮🇱 📸: Hagit Bibi Photography

Paris protests? Cue the Greta Thunberg and “Pro-Palestine” brigade. Different protest, same familiar faces, same predictable slogans. The cause? Almost irrelevant. The facts? Optional. The cameras? Essential.

2,000 years of history, uncovered in Jerusalem. 🇮🇱 A 300-meter section of an ancient aqueduct dating back to the Judean Kingdom period has been unearthed in Jerusalem. The engineering marvel once carried water over 21 kilometers to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount using gravity alone and remaining in use for nearly two millennia. 📸: Emil Aladjem/@AntiquitiesIL youtube.com/watch?v=d8aEbPj2…

They tried to take down NAZA: The Real Story. They failed. This morning, the Israeli documentary production was temporarily taken offline following a coordinated campaign by radical Islamist groups. Apparently, exposing what happened in Gaza and backing it up with evidence was a little too inconvenient. Unfortunately for them, the film is now back online. 🎬 Join the millions who've already watched. See for yourself: nazadocumentary.com/film

An international conference on combating antisemitism is being held in Ireland. Meanwhile, a Dublin hotel reportedly cancels delegates’ rooms simply because they are attending it. No legitimate reason given. Just people attending a conference against antisemitism. Is this Ireland’s idea of fighting antisemitism? Hosting international conferences while delegates face discrimination in Dublin? The Irish government cannot use the fight against antisemitism as a diplomatic PR exercise while failing to confront it at home. Enough virtue signaling. Enough hypocrisy. Where is the condemnation? Where is the action? israelnationalnews.com/news/…

Amit Mann could have run. She chose to stay and save lives. On October 7, the 22-year-old paramedic treated the wounded in Kibbutz Be’eri until Palestinian Hamas terrorists murdered her. She spent the last day of her life trying to save others. 🕯️ This is Amit’s story. #UNFORGO7TEN

Listen to Agam. On October 7, Palestinian Hamas terrorists murdered her father and sister in her home. Then, at just 17, they dragged her into Gaza with her mother and two little brothers. Gazan civilians surrounded and threatened them. A Palestinian schoolteacher held them hostage in his house. They were locked up in a mosque and in a school. A Palestinian crowd tried to lynch them as they were finally coming home. Listen to what she survived. #UNFORGO7TEN
⚠️WARNING: GRAPHIC AND UPSETTING FOOTAGE ⚠️ Agam Goldstein-Almog was 17. She says it at the start of the film, because the age is the point. On the morning of October 7 her family was in the safe room at Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Her father, Nadav, and her sister, Yam, were murdered there. She was taken with her mother, Chen, and her brothers, Gal, 11, and Tal, 9, and driven into Gaza in her mother’s car. She describes the trip. Civilians in Gaza banging on the windows. She told her mother they were going to rape her. The men in the car talked about marrying her off. She asked only that the four of them be kept together. They were. A schoolteacher who was also Hamas held them, after a tunnel, in an apartment, dressed as civilians so the street would not see Israelis. Fifty-one days. Released on November 26, 2023, moved from car to car through a crowd she thought was going to lynch them, and home to a house with two of them missing. That is the footage the argument always omits. This isn’t a leaflet. And it isn’t a border dispute. She was a 17-year-old taken from the room where her father and sister had just been killed, with two little boys, into a home in Gaza, by people the marches across London, Paris and New York still call resistance. She’s the one narrating it. The film doesn’t need a caption.

They came with a simple wish: to dance and listen to music. At the Nova memorial, candles shine in the darkness, honoring the bright, young lives stolen on October 7. Each flame represents a person whose light lives on in the hearts of those who love them. We will never forget you. 🕯️ 📹 @eliyashabtay #unforgo7ten #neverforget #weremember #rememberthem #israel

Three years after October 7, over 1,000 Christians from around the world came to the Nova massacre site. Guided by their faith, they came to stand with Israel, to remember, and to make sure these stories are never forgotten. Now they will carry those voices home. ✝️🇮🇱 #unforgo7ten #christiansinisrael #standwithisrael #christianfaith #neverforget

Some embraces say what words cannot. On October 13, 2025, the final 20 living hostages returned from Gaza following two years in Palestinian Hamas' captivity. Their families could finally hold them again after 738 days, and an entire nation shared their relief, even as we hold deep grief for those who did not return home alive. One year later, we hold the survivors and their families close as they continue to heal and carry the memory of those we lost with us always. 💛🇮🇱 #unforgo7ten

One year ago today, after two years in Hamas captivity, Israeli hostages were finally reunited with their families. 🎗️🇮🇱 The first hugs. The tears. The overwhelming relief after 738 days of unimaginable suffering at the hands of the Hamas terrorist organization. For two years, an entire nation held its breath, waiting for these moments. And finally, we could breathe again. ❤️ #unforgo7ten #israel #hostages #familyreunion #october7
