The event commenced with a signing ceremony marking the implementation phase of Emirates MEDs and the National Assessment Bank, which included all Deans of Medicine from across the UAE. Our team engaged in valuable discussions focused on advancing medical education and shared insights regarding the implementation of EmiratesMEDs. Professor Matalka presented RAKMHSU's experience in mapping and implementing Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) in undergraduate medical education, highlighting potential challenges and strategies for mitigation. This event provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with esteemed colleagues and contribute to the future of healthcare education in the UAE. Held on the RAKMHSU campus, the session offered a platform for in-depth discussions and collaboration with a distinguished panel of medical experts. Under the leadership of His Excellency Dr. YASSER ALNUAIMI and Prof. Ismail I. A. Matalka, President of #RAKMHSU, the meeting boasted a stellar line-up of international and UAE-based medical luminaries, including Professors Mairi Scott, Nadera J Sweiss, Angharad Davies, Essam El Toukhy, Dr. Zuhair Afaneh, Shadi Hamouri, Sabeeh Mashhadani, Raza Siddiqui, Samra Abouchacra, Muna Al Ayyan, and Dr.Amel Almaeeni.
