Criminal congresswoman Ilhan’s daddy wasn’t some poor soldier fleeing the big bad war—he was Siad Barre’s loyal genocidal maniac, torturing and killing innocent women and children in the Isaaq Genocide Squad.
While the family sobbed “asylum, please, he was just a school teacher who taught kids,” the piece of shit helped destroy villages, poison wells, and starve half a million people into skeletons. Up to a hundred thousand civilians turned into dust under that regime, and this guy sneaked into America with a fake résumé. Then the media crowned the whole clan progressive royalty.
Yeah, nothing says “human rights champion” like a war-criminal refugee who lied his way past the border and committed immigration fraud.

We were profoundly surprised, even shocked on discovering the remarks made by Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D) of Minnesota in a recent public forum, widely circulated on most social media platforms and attached below for your reference.
The language she employed was regrettably unbecoming of both the office she holds and the constituents she represents.
Her expressions were lacking in common decency and revealed a significant lack of understanding of basic facts. Specifically troubling, were her endeavors to revive the once-violent and dangerous ideology of Greater Somalia or Somali Weyn, which caused so much death, destruction and conflict in the Horn of Africa.
Furthermore, her use of ethno-racist rhetoric didn't escape attention and left many, with a deep sense of disappointment.
This was particularly bewildering for those who recall similar racist attacks she endured not long ago, of being ”not American enough” and was baffling to see her take a similar approach and accuse the entire #Somaliland nation of “falsely claiming Somali identity.”
Moreover, her ignorance of #US - #Somaliland cooperation in the fight against terror and piracy in the Gulf of Aden & Gulf Of Berbera was shocking to say the least.
We hope the house leadership and her caucus will take note of her public conduct, unbecoming a United States Congresswoman nor representative of the august house she serves in.

Ibrahim was convicted in Canada for Asylum and Welfare Fraud prior to his entry into the United States. On April 3, 2004, an immigration judge ordered Ibrahim removed, citing the significant amount of fraud associated with him.

Israel was one of the first countries to recognize the independence of the State of Somaliland in 1960, one of roughly 35 nations to do so.
In the late 1980s, during the Isaaq genocide, Israel was the only country to raise the atrocities at the United Nations. The UN Security Council and the Secretary-General ignored it.
The Isaaq people had to liberate themselves.
By 1991 they succeeded, then faced the task of rebuilding a land left looking like post-World War II Europe after a decade of genocidal war.
Under international isolation, Somalilanders made peace among themselves and recreated their nation.
Meanwhile the West imported many of the same perpetrators of the Isaaq genocide, criminals and supporters of the Siad Barre regime. The Isaaq people never received justice because the West granted asylum wholesale to the worst of the worst.
Three decades later, Somalians who commit fraud in places like Ohio, including Somalia’s ambassador to the UN, an American citizen, can openly deny the Isaaq genocide while the world continues to fund his paycheck.
It is time Somalians paid for their crimes.
When the Somali regime, led by Siad Barre, committed a massacre against the people of Somaliland, the world was silent. But Israel was not silent.
In 1990, Israel’s then-ambassador to the UN, Yohanan Bein, sent a letter to the UN Security Council warning about the massacre committed by Somalia in the city of Hargeisa. Even when it was inconvenient and diplomatically costly, Israel chose what was right.
That is what moral leadership looks like.

I welcome his acknowledgment of Somaliland's distinct identity. Since restoring its independence in 1991, Somaliland has built democratic institutions, held competitive elections, and demonstrated its commitment to democracy through peaceful transfers of power, most recently in 2024. The United States should now take the next step and formally recognize Somaliland as an independent nation.
